A Morales Minute

Grandma and Grandpa flew Lindsey to Arizona to see them on her birthday weekend. She was so excited to celebrate with family.  First night there she went swimming with Liandrew and Grandma. Lindsey enjoyed some time with Liandrew. He soaked up the cousin time.  On her birthday they went to Top Golf to celebrate.  Grandma made Lindsey's favorite birthday meal for dinner. Chicken broccoli casserole. I've made it for Lindsey the last 18 years. So it was kind of Grandma to make it for her on her 19th.  Lindsey found an Elvis impersonator concert and was thrilled to be able to go up to see him on stage and then again after the show. Probably a highlight of the weekend for her.  Yummy lunch at Raising Cane's along with Snoop Dogg! Mariner's preseason game! She sure got to pack a lot of fun into her short weekend. I'm so glad she was loved and spoiled for her birthday since I couldn't be around to celebrate with her. There's nothing like being with family.   

Attending sporting events while Jaime supervises has been a fun perk of his being high school principal. It makes for entertaining and cheap date nights.  Huddling close to keep warm at the high school girls soccer game.   

Getting some morning cuddles from Jaime. It's so cute that Koda still loves to just sit on the laps in the morning. Not sure how long that'll last as he's getting bigger and it'll be harder to fit on the lap.  On his way for some vaccines. He's so cute just sitting in his carrier. He likes it when I open the top so he can look out and see where we're going. And I do like having him sitting next to me.  Feeling a bit mellow after his shots. We don't mind giving him some extra snuggles when he's feeling low.   

Brack to Brack bracket making! Each of us has more than one bracket in a few different pools this year. Let the madness begin!  

Last day wearing braces! He's so happy to have them off! He's ready to eat caramel, not have canker sores, or have to picks and floss in so many little spaces. He's looking so handsome! He's looking lots older just through the last six months.   

We enjoyed a fun evening out to dinner with Aunt Bel and Uncle Chris to celebrate Olivia's birthday. I admire how Bel and Chris always want to do something to celebrate my kids' birthdays either on their birthday or if they're not available to then to do something later. It's always fun when you an extend the birthday festivities.   

Jaime is kind to everyone around him. He's a great example. Glad to see him enjoying his job and the spirit of being a Riverhawk.
