Tough Mudder

Image
I've always been a bit leery but at the same time wanted to try a mud run. I don't like dirt especially mud. But I've been exercising and working hard on getting in to good shape and I wanted something to make me challenge myself and work towards. Jeremy Anderson was the one who talked me in to doing the Tough Mudder. He'd asked me to join them before when they'd gone but I do have a hard time going outside what I know and doing something new. But I needed Jaime, my comfort zone, to come with me. So I had to talk Jaime in to doing it with me. He got in to exercising some as well and eating better. He lost 30 lbs! I'm super proud of him  Andersons had another couple of friends come join the team. We came up Friday night after dinner and stayed in a hotel. Saturday morning I felt ready to do this! The first mud pit I just went for it. I jumped in. Had to get in some time right? It's not as bad when you know you're going for the purpose of getting mu

Last Minute camping trip

Jaime's parents surprised us a couple weeks ago by showing up at our house with a new motorhome that they bought. Gone is the truck and trailer. They wanted to test it out and take it for a weekend trip before fall set in. Off to Clean Elum they went. We were in Yakima at Elizabeth's house to celebrate Jocelyn's first birthday. After lunch we headed to Cle Elum to visit the camp site.  While we were there dinner time approached so we drove around to find this cute renovated train station made BBQ house. Marcus and Aide came also so Liandrew was able to be in the picture with his cousins. :) It was a nice short trip but we had to head back to Pasco to give Lindsey time to get ready for a stake dance.  It was dress as your favorite decade and she chose to dress in this super cute poodle skirt! My  mom is amazing and was able to whip this puppy up in no time. Lindsey makes one cute sock hop girl! Or sock hopper? lol

Aidan's Birthday

We celebrated Aidan's birthday on Saturday the 1st. We had Jaime's family over and Mel and Tim and Grandpa Noble for Marcus's yummy street tacos. It was a delicious meal.  Time for presents! Uncle Chris thought it'd be funny to watch Aidan open a Barbie. hahaha. Aidan was not impressed.  But he was thrilled with the real gift.  This boy can not get enough Legos.  He has so many sets.  Hope your wishes come true! Labor Day happened to fall on Aidan's birthday so, yay no school for him! Instead we went to celebrate with a fried chicken picnic and swimming at the river.  He's two handfuls old Beautiful girls. It was a perfect beautiful day to be out by the water.  Lindsey was excited to run in to Hailey! Her family thought it was a great day to spend at the river as well.  Lindsey and Hailey went off on the paddle boards for a while. Lori and Stuart came with and joined us for lunch and
