They Do Love Each Other

Image
Occasionally I find these two just hanging out together. Olivia and Tyler get a long so well sometimes and other times they can really get on each other. It's one of the most back and forth relationships among siblings in this house. They can razz each other and pick on each other, then in an instant they're laughing and playing music together. I love them so much.

Surgery Time

Image
Little Koda has now reached the age that he needed to be neutered.  He wouldn't be able to be bathed for a while after surgery so I decided to give him a good one.  So skinny and curly. :) He will lay pretty good while he's with me.  Surgery went well. It was real quick. He was only gone for a few hours and then I got to go pick him up. He was sleepy and cuddly when he got home.  Poor pup in the cone of shame.  We would take it off to give him breaks while we were able to keep a close watch on him so that he wouldn't pick at his stitches.  Teddy, Reindeer, Koda all in a row. haha He still needs lots of rest so I would just find him laying down sleeping at odd times.  We keep a close watch on him to make sure he will heal up fast and well.

Everyone Likes to Cuddle

Part of wanting a dog was to be able to hold and snuggle with him. We got lucky getting a pup that loves to get some cuddle time in between his bursts of energy.  Aidan just picks Koda up at any time of the day. He packs him around like a little baby sometimes. It's so cute.

Track 2.0

Aidan has been enjoying his second year of track. After I made him join last year I didn't think he would do it again. However, at the end of last season he said that he would do it again. Sure enough, he joined all on his own this year. Discus 400 Shot Put Look at that form! 😃 Last kick to the finish.  I know Aidan doesn't love to run and he's not competitive in any of his events. He's simply happy with a PR whenever he gets one. I'm so proud of him to doing something and sticking with it and mostly just for going out for something to be active.

Journey

Bel and Chris took Lindsey and Olivia to Spokane for the Journey concert. They all had a blast!

He Is Risen

So thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ. He atonement and resurrection. I'm grateful for my relationship with him and the knowledge I have that He loves me. I do all I can to let my children know my testimony and to help their's to grow as well. They're such great kids. I'm blessed beyond measure. This Easter I loved just being with them, together in church, and feeling the Spirit so strong.  I love my bunch! After church we had Easter dinner at my mom's with family. Couldn't think of a better way to celebrate. Elizabeth wanted to make resurrection rolls with everyone for Family Home Evening. It's an activity we've done many times years ago but it was fun to be able to make them with my parents and Elizabeth's family.

Two Weeks of Spring Break!

Image
Jaime had a work conference in Arizona just minutes away from where his parents live just a week before Spring Break. So we decided to drive down for the conference and stay through Spring Break giving us a two week break and plenty of time to make the long drive.  We left Friday March 24 Not having a couch in the hotel rooms proved difficult for Koda. He wanted to be up so bad. We gave in and let him sit on the bed but he didn't get to sleep there. He slept in his kennel. We stayed one night in Twin Falls before heading to Las Vegas on the 25th. Koda traveled way better than I could have expected. We took his travel carrier for more of a car seat to keep in safe from sliding around in the car. He would lay down and sleep in it... or sit up and look around. Everyone traveled so well. We made such good time.  It was a long drive but we made such good time and hardly stopped that it didn't seem like too arduous of a drive.  When we got to Brian's everyone was excited to see e
