Tolo

Image
The end of January Olivia asked her friend Jonas to Tolo. He had an arm in a sling for the same injury as Olivia. However his was worse and needed surgery. I thought her way of asking was clever and cute.  The night before Tolo the girls got together for a Galentine's night of food, pampering and prepping for the dance with facials, and watching a movie.  They had quite the spread! Time for facials! I love this picture of Brynnlee, Olivia, and Makeda busting up laughing. Knowing your kids have good friends is a wonderful thing.  They watched Pride and Prejudice.  Ready for Tolo! Cute cute! The group went to downtown Richland to get some Urban like pictures.  Well Jonas said something funny! They both have their slings off but they felt the handicap sign was appropriate for them. 😂 What a group of girls. Glad they have fun together.  I love the lights! After pictures they went for dinner.  They had a lovely spread of street tacos at a friend's house. All of us mom's helped

18?! 18?!

How do I now have two adult children?! We had Grandpa and Grandma Naylor, Aunt Bel, and Liv's friend Makayla over for dinner to celebrate Olivia. She was going to be having waffles with the works for lunch at the superintendent's student council meeting so she chose not to have waffles for dinner as per her usual birthday tradition. Unfortunately, she was very disappointed to get to the luncheon and it was pancakes!!  For dinner she asked me to make her favorite parmesan bow tie dish. We had grilled marinated chicken thighs, broccoli, and salad. Olivia is not really a cake or ice cream girl. Which is why at Grandma's she asked for loaded chocolate chip cookies for the birthday dinner earlier this month. Today she had a s'mores crunch wrap. They're so so good.  Just prior to opening this gift she was saying she never made it to artfetti to buy some macarons like she likes to do every year. She opened the wrapping paper and what did she see... a box of macarons from a

Long Weekends With Family

Lindsey and Isaac came home for the long weekend. It's always fun to have them here.  All seven of us went to the temple on Friday to do baptisms. We had such a great time being together. I showed them some partner yoga moves to try so they had fun doing them. Their size difference made some moves easier.

Lindsey's First Day of Work

Lindsey got a job in Rexburg! She's happy to bring in some income so that she can replenish her bank account. She's working at Cold Stone Creamery. With a cute smile and sparkly eyes like she has there's no way she won't be bringing in tips to add to her paycheck. hahah I do love to see her smiling like that when she sends me pictures. She's doing so well. I don't have to worry so much about her like I thought I would. She's grown and matured so much. She's now an adult! Wow. Gosh I love her so much.
