A Morales Minute

Lindsey and Libby's tennis match.  We've been watching a lot of tennis lately and Lindsey and Olivia have been wanting to practice so we met up with Marcus and Aide to play some tennis.  Since Marcus has been coaching high school tennis he helped give me some coaching tips.  It was nice having two tennis coaches out to help the girls and me. Jaime loved coaching the Grandview High School tennis team when we lived there.  It's fun having something we can go out and play with the girls.  The boys came as well however Aidan mostly spent his time playing with Liandrew.  It was a good activity for Aidan. He helped entertain Liandrew. Such a cutie. What little boy wouldn't want to be outside and have a bunch of tennis balls rolling around to play with. :)  

I got to spend my lunch with this little gem of a nephew! He's got quite the mischievous smile. Lori and I had a good visit over lunch. We don't get together too often but when we get to I enjoy my time with her,   

  Lindsey's first high school tennis match of the season is a win! Congratulations Lindsey.  She's excited for the season. 

Emily Daw is in town for a visit! It's so cute to see these two reunite and just hug it out.  Olivia loves Emily and has been so grateful for the visits she makes and stops to stay with us. 

  Spring is here! I love getting DQ ice cream for free every year to celebrate the first day of spring. And today actually feels like it is spring! It's been a fun tradition to be able to have ice cream with Uncle Dick to celebrate spring for the last few years. Sometimes he texts and we meet there, other times we have run in to each other there. 

Happy Birthday Lindsey! She's 15 today. I can hardly believe how short the time I have left is! She will be graduating before I know it. She's still as passionate about anything she develops a liking to, loves kids, loves hanging out with friends, loves singing to the oldies, and gets more excited about superhero movies than anyone else I know. Someday she will find her own superhero. :) She had her traditional birthday dinner, chicken broccoli casserole. She's had it on her birthday for the past 15 years...yes really. She still loves it! Angel food cake with strawberries and whip cream for dessert. I hope all her wishes come true...considering she blew out all 15 candles in one blow! We were able to celebrate at grandma's house on day as well.  I love you Lindsey and the beautiful young woman you've become.   

We had a short 24 hour getaway with some of our favorites! We spent the weekend at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. It's true what they say, time flies when you're having fun. We always have a good time with Brandon and Sarah.  Sarah and I are alike in that we like to get away with friends, dress up, try fun places, and laugh a lot.  Oh yes, and we both love to get some spa time. Jaime and I got a couples massage. It was wonderful.   

These girls had a great time at the "Enlist" conference. Getting pictures from Olivia saying it's awesome what what I wanted to hear.  They had great uplifting speakers that kept their attention and made them laugh.  They were excited to meet one of the speakers and get pictures with him. He looks like a fun guy.  Tonight we just got to relax at home. I saw the boys laying down together and it looked so cute. Reminded me of when they were little. It's hard not to miss the tiny cuddly toddlers sometimes. But when I see moments like this I am just as grateful to have them at this time.   

  I spent a little time with Lindsey doing her hair, nails, and makeup for her friend's quinceanera. I can't believe how Lindsey has grown up so fast into this beautiful, gorgeous young woman.  She's had so much fun going to the dance practices with her friends and today-night is the big event. When I dropped Lindsey off at her friend's house I saw all the girls dressed and ready for their ride in the limo for pictures.  She said she had so much fun doing the dances, eating the yummy food, and being with her friends.
