Lindsey's Baptism

Image
After the funeral on Tuesday I had the next two days to do laundry and clean the house and make beds for company coming on Friday. It was great to have my sisters stay the night and see all my brothers and sisters, and parents at the same time and place! It doesn't happen too often. Everyone came for Lindsey's baptism. Friday was fun as we all got to play and enjoy company. Saturday we got ready for the baptism. Lindsey is absolutely beautiful. She was so bright and glowing this day.  Coming down the stairs. (My sweet nephew going up.) I let her pick out her dress. My first is now baptized! Am I that old? Lindsey and Aunt Lori Lindsey, Jacob, Aunt Emily, Emma, Wescott and William Olivia in her Easter dress. With all that went on the past week I never got pics of my kids in their new Easter clothes. Olivia and Emma hand in hand walking to the church.  We couldn't have asked for better weather. Emma, Olivia, and Maybrie

Spring Break

This year's Spring Break was nice and relaxing.... for the first three days. :) Then it got busy and seemed like we did way  too much in such a short span of time. My baby brother Darin asked me if I would come to his college graduation. At first I said no thinking there's no way I was taking my kids to all that plus the drive. Then I realized it was during our Spring Break so Jaime would have it off and his dad always takes that week off so his mom agreed to take the weekend off also so our kids could stay with them. Nice how well it all rolled out, isn't it? On Thursday we loaded up the car and headed to Sunnyside to say good bye to Jaime's Grandma. We were told she wasn't expected to make it another 24 hours. It was tough seeing her so lifeless. It was tough for Jaime to leave as well but he knew that he wouldn't be able to do anything so he decided to come on the road trip with my parents and me. We got to Boise Thursday evening and checke

Couldn't resist

On Thursday I came upstairs to find my boys and their friend, who I was babysitting, playing with a tube of Desitin diaper cream.  Let me tell you, they had fun squeezing that tube and rubbing the stuff all over themselves.  Diaper cream isn't meant to wash off with soap and water either!  I had to scrub them with a wash cloth. (It doesn't come out of clothes well either.)  They didn't care for the rough scrubbing so much but I must admit,  they were having fun before I butted in.  The sad thing is, it wasn't even our diaper cream.  I haven't  used the stuff in a long time. :( My little mimes. Not that they could stay quiet if their life depended on it. (Tyler's fro is getting chopped tomorrow! It just keeps growing OUT and never lays down.) This picture was too cute not to capture. For General Conference our girls like to play Conference Bingo. They do such a good job listening for specific words.  I really enjoyed conference. Some things I know were meant f

Lindsey's teacher gave this to me during her parent/teacher conference.  Lindsey is so sweet and good to think of others.   I did find it interesting that the money she gives to her parents is to be used for gifts while the money she gives to her friends is for them to use how they want. ;)
