The first turns 8!

Lindsey's birthday fell on a Sunday this year. March 18th. So she decided she wanted a Mother/Daughter day out on St. Patrick's day. On Saturday I took both Olivia and Lindsey out for their birthdays. We went shopping to Lindsey's favorite stores, Justice and Barnes and Noble. Then a few others in the mall like Old Navy and Journey's to pick out a few things. Lindsey picked Famous Dave's for Lunch. This girl loves her meat. :) I was shocked when Liv decided to try a rib.  She liked it if it didn't have too much sauce on it. After lunch Olivia wanted to go to Target. The girls picked Gak out for a fun activity/toy. They've really enjoyed it. I thought I was going to regret buying something that could potentially be messy  and stain but they are so good at always putting it away out of the boys reach when they're done. :) On Sunday Lindsey had a meeting after church to meet her new Activity Day leader. Lindsey will have so much fun and get to know s...

And then she turned 6!

My baby girl turned six! She's been counting down the days, believe me. I gave her the options of what she could do to celebrate her birthday. She chose to have a family party. One of her treats was being able to stay Friday night at her Grandma Marcia's house. So we had the party there at my Mom and Dad's since Lindsey and Olivia were already there. It also made it easier for my grandma and grandpa Noble to be able to be apart of it.  The night before the day I baked Olivia's cake she changed her mind about her cake design.  She has been planning and talking about having Monster High cupcakes all month. I had my plan all figured out on how I was going to make them. Olivia changed from Monster High to having orca whales. I had thought it'd be neat to make a cake with the whales sticking out of the "water" but she wanted me to just frost whales on it. I didn't argue! It was much easier, but actually fun at the same time. She does have a soft spot for o...

Husbands are Great

Jaime had wanted to surprise me with a getaway for my birthday this year. So sweet, right? Well it just happened to work out that our friend Jeremy asked Jaime if we would want to have a weekend getaway with Jeremy and Carina around the same time. Our husbands planned and made reservations for us to go to Triple Play in Coeur d'alene, ID. Jaime never told me where we were going until we were in the car on our way. I plan to go pro someday! I loved hanging out and visiting with Carina. (I miss you)   The guys rode the go karts multiple times. Look at them race around the track! Go Jaime go! (he did come in first on this race.) I enjoyed the go karts too but I need to grow a couple inches so that I don't get a cramp in my hamstring trying to press on the gas pedal so long. Then I'll be more competition. Grandma Morales and Aunt Bel stayed with our kids. It was so kind of them to do so. Olivia asked Jaime when we will be leaving again so they can have Gr...

THREE Years?!?!?!

On Wednesday September 3rd, 2008 I was at my Mom's house. I started having small contractions that kept getting more frequent. When I would be talking to my mom and have to stop just to breathe we decided that I was in labor and would probably be going to the hospital that night rather than the next morning for my scheduled induction. We had dinner there and after dinner I told Jaime to go ahead and go to mutual as he was in the Young Men's presidency. I wasn't in enough pain and didn't want to go to the hospital too early. Lindsey and Olivia would stay the night since they were going to anyway so Jaime and I could just get up Thursday morning and head to the hospital to be induced into labor. We got the girls in to bed and I said good bye. My brother Darin was home and he drove me to the hospital at 8:30 p.m. I sent Jaime a message I was going and he and my dad (our ward's bishop) would meet me there. I got checked in by 9 p.m. and the nurse checked me and said I...

Is It Christmas?

No it's just birthday time. Among all the chaos of moving into our new house and making our house more of a home we took the time to celebrate the girls' birthdays.Olivia's birthday was February 21, right during the move. My sister was visiting and was kind enough to make Olivia's Hello Kitty cake. She did an awesome job and it helped me be able to get some moving done.  Everyone had a good time, including Tyler!
