Happy 250th America!
Before heading to Rexburg for the Fourth of July Lindsey showed me how excited she was. 😄 Hahaha. Her and Aidan have this gift of intertwining their toes without using their hands to put their toes together! She will kill me for posting this but I think it's impressive and actually really good for your feet!
We went to Rexburg to spend time time with the kids there before heading on to Utah for the Naylor Family Reunions.
Lindsey and Isaac left the next day to head to Meridian to spend the holiday with his family. They were kind to let us stay at their apartment and the boys stayed at Olivia and Chaz's place. While we were there Jaime thought he'd take a look at their garbage disposal that was no longer working. Just like his dad, he's become quite the Mr. Fixit, AKA "Maintenance" to the rest of the Morales family 😂. Jaime had it fixed and working in no time so Lindsey didn't have to worry about coming home to a stinky sink and waiting for their maintenance request to management to be taken care of.
We made a stop into the Nitro station. A convenience store that some friends from Pasco have opened up since they moved to Idaho. It's fun to drop them a line every now and then when we stop in.
In the evenings we hung out at Olivia and Chaz's apartment. Koda looked too cute snuggled up on Olivia's Minky blanket next to her. But aside from that cuteness, we had so much fun being together with Chaz and Olivia. Chaz took some time to help Tyler learn some things on the guitar too.
We enjoyed the Fourth of July parade and fireworks.
We had originally planned to go to Idaho Falls for the fireworks but on the 3rd we drove to IF to watch another show that a family puts on for the community. From our understanding it's quite the show. Unfortunately, shortly after we got there the owner of the production had a heart attack before anything even got started so they canceled it. We decided not to drive back on the 4th and just watched the IF fireworks on TV. It was incredible on TV so in person was amazing I'm sure. But we always like not having to wait and drive through traffic so we felt fulfilled in watching the Rexburg show right from the parking lot of Olivia's apartment and then watching the other show on TV.
