LAX Season

Image
Lacrosse has started. Aidan has a game about every Saturday. Some are so far away it takes the entire day.  This game was in Wenatchee. Aidan enjoys playing but this year the other kids have had large growth spurts but Aidan hasn't. He's on the 4/5 team so he's one of the younger ones but also the smallest.  He's not super aggressive either but occasionally he really gets in and fights for the ball if it's around him.  Aidan's team! They had some good wins today!

Lindsey Brag Post

This girl has been working so hard to maintain a 4.0 in school. I can't let it go by without acknowledging her good efforts. It's really paying off. Way to go Lindsey!

My Jaime

Image
I don't think I saw enough about Jaime. He is a great guy. He's an amazing father. He's so patient in helping our kids do their homework. I have a harder time helping the girls with homework as they get older and the boys have Spanish homework which is really tough for me to help with.  Today Jaime left work early to take me out to lunch. He rarely ever takes a lunch break because he's always so busy so he's totally okayed by everyone when he finally does take a break.  He took me to Costa Vida to get my favorite sweet pork salad.  He's pretty fun to hang around with :)

Tyler at School

Image
I just wanted to give a little update on Tyler in school. He's been enjoying it so much. He still doesn't like homework and loathes writing but he loves math, recess, art, and technology.  He has good school spirit and likes to participate in the dress up days.  For good behavior and school work teachers and support staff give the kids Maya Bucks to purchase things from the school store. Occasionally the school has drawings for really big prizes. Kids can put Maya bucks with their name on it in the drawing bucket. Tyler wrote his name on every single Maya Buck he had earned and saved. He refused to buy anything at the Maya store because he wanted to see up his bucks to win a tablet in the drawing. I told him that if he puts all his bucks in the drawing he can't be upset if he doesn't get drawn and then doesn't have any more money to use at the store for any other things he may have wanted. He said he understood that. The day of the drawing I was so nervou

Carina's Birthday!

Image
We invited Carina and Jeremy to come play volleyball at the church with us and others in the ward on Wednesday nights at 9. Since we see them a little bit more regularly we think of each other more and since we see each other more it's easier to ask to get together. I asked Carina if I could have them over for dinner for her birthday.  I love how Carson is so excited for this cake. You'd think it was his birthday. :P I hope she made a good wish! It was a fun evening.
