The First Day of School

Olivia's first day at the middle school! FRESHMAN! what a gorgeous girl.  Yes Tyler is taller than Aidan but not by much. His shoes definitely give him a boost. :) I love watching them walk to the bus stop together.  Have a good day!!

The Aftermath of a 16 year old Decision

Today, August 24, marks Jaime's 16th year as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Because of his choice to be baptized we are this!!

New Air Museum

Image
I saw on Facebook that a new air museum was having it's grand opening here in Pasco so I thought it'd be a fun learning opportunity for my kids. They were excited to see this real B17 WWII bomber.  Veterans get to sign the plane.  Look out for bombs! This gentleman was asked to sign the plane. How cool is that.  We climbed in through the tiny door.  And saw just how tight everything was inside.  Walking on the catwalk through the bomb bay.  Love this shot The old air tower

Stake Activity Day Girls Camp

Image
Our theme this year! Pasco 10th Ward activity day girls.  Makala Hales, Maria Whitby, Mayela Poulson, and me. Our stake primary presidency. I've have enjoyed working with and getting to know these amazing women. I was called as our ward primary secretary so have been released from my stake primary secretary position.  Because I had helped plan this giant event I wanted to see it through even though I've been released. It was a great day camp we put on for the girls. They learned the song "I Will Be What I Believe" and all sang it together in the gym at the end of the day. It was beautiful! I love the song and get goosebumps whenever I hear it.

Time with Cousins

Emily's family was at Mom's for a week so we like to come and see them and let the kids play and swim all day.  Lindsey has been spending time with Grandma Marcia in the kitchen! Look at that strawberry pie.

The Annual Trip the Oregon Coast

Image
And the kids are off with Grandma and Grandpa Morales! The trip my kids look forward to every year. I'm still amazed that they want to take the kids by themselves for 9 days. But when they get to do fun activities like this it doesn't surprise me that they are excited to go. :) I appreciate that grandma takes pictures of the kids and what they do and sends them to me. I do enjoy my week of being with Jaime a lone but I do miss the kids and wonder what and how they're doing.  Martin and Diana bought Aidan a new bike for his early birthday present.  Part of going to Fort Stevens is being able to go on the bike paths.  Tyler played football with the big boys.  Smiles when they got back! These trips will be memories my kids have and will tell their kids how they would go camping every year with their grandma and grandpa Morales. :)
