The October Birthday Boys

Image
We celebrated a couple birthdays today! Marty turns 65 on the 26th.  As you can see he's pretty excited about it. :) Liandrew turns 3 on the 29th. This kid is hilarious. He is such a character. He can dance better than many adults, he has the cutest voice, does the silliest things, and loves his cousins. He's good buds with Tyler.

Take a Hike

Hiked up Badger Mountain with Andersons tonight. What a beautiful evening. After the hike the kids played at the playground for a while then we grabbed dinner to go to eat at our house and spend more time visiting. We love being with friends.

Stay-at-Homecoming

With school activities a no, I'm so impressed that a group made this "stay-at-homecoming' possible.   Lindsey came up with a creative way to ask Spencer to "HoCo" translation: homecoming. It's a play off the tv show Pshyc that they like to watch.  Lindsey looks so beautiful! They're so cute! Lindsey is wearing my dress from Fall Formal my senior year in high school along with the same jewelry I wore. She looks stunning in it.  Spencer has been such a good friend to Lindsey.  She's in heels...she's not taller than me. :) The Group What a bunch of good looking girls. Everyone had such a great time. They had dinner at Daphne Christensen's house, dessert at Sheridan Edler's house, and an outdoor dance decorated so beautifully at Emily Meredith's house.

My Birthday Treat

I love that birthday celebrations over multiple days of the week can spread out the birthday fun. Sweet gifts arrived on my doorstep, my friend Sarah spoiled me with gifts and lunch on Thursday. Jaime took me to the Couer d'Alene Resort Thursday-Saturday where I spent a couple days at the spa, taking some short hikes, a dinner cruise, good food at restaurants, swimming and hot tubbing. Saturday evening we went to dinner with close friends and ended the night with a group of friends visiting and laughing over treats and a game.  Jaime has always tried to spoil me for my birthday. He's taken me away for my birthday for years. It kinda started about 12 years ago when we'd go on weekend getaways with our friends the Andersons in October. Generally around my birthday. Though the tradition of traveling with them didn't continue (Probably because we moved from Grandview) Jaime continued to take me somewhere for my birthday. Because it's just a weekend it's always just
