Tillamook

Image
Jaime, Lindsey, Koda, and I left a couple days before everyone else because Jaime and Lindsey needed to get back to work. The rest of the crew headed to Tillamook to go to the air museum and Tillamook cheese factory.  While the others enjoyed checking out the museum we got stuck in traffic not moving due to an accident. We waited for almost an hour till we learned that it wasn't going to reopen for many more hours. So we turned around and headed to Tillamook! We were able to see everyone again and have lunch and Tillamook ice cream together. This helped kill some time until we decided to try and make it back home. Lindsey and Koda did great sleeping most of the way home. Yep, pretty much all the way home. :) A couple days later the rest came back as well, except for Grandma and Grandpa. They continued to vacation with their RV.  The rest of us got together for lunch at Zip's before Marcus and Aide had to fly back to Arizona.

Another Day on The Beach

Image
Another beautiful day on the beach! Aidan and Tyler helping Liandrew use a spin flyer toy.  Aidan doesn't like to get in the water but he loves to be out on the beach.  Tyler on the other hand gets in the water on the body boards and stays out there for hours.  Little buddies.  Olivia decided it was time she go out and get in the water. Jaime walked up to the water with her. It was cute to see them talk as they walked.  Then Olivia hopped right in! They had a blast dancing in the water and jumping with the waves.  I love my man.  While the others are in the water, Aidan explores.  And gets some time with Liandrew who doesn't like the water either.

Zipping Fun

We decided to go on the zip lines while at the coast. We had so much fun! Hooked on the line and ready to go! The 'dead man swing' Part way through the lines we were able to see Liandrew and Marcus as they waited for us to finish.  The guides on our trip were so fun. They showed us how to turn and control our ride so we wouldn't spin out of control. Then on each line they gave us directions of how to ride it. Like hanging dead man style, taking a couple rocks and trying to throw them in a couple lakes we flew over.  One of the lines we rode we were able to touch the water and skim across. When we got over land the guide pulled us up the hill to unhook the harness and then Sasquatch came out and would scare each of us individually as we came down. It was fun to watch each one jump or in Bel's case scream and shake. hahaha One of the lines was a complete drop, free fall, until the line caught. Only Tyler, Chris, and Aide did it as it was an extra cost. But they loved it a

Nothing Like Our Trips to the Oregon Coast

Lindsey, Liandrew, and Koda left for the coast first with Marcus and Aide in the truck. The other kids were at FSY. Jaime and I went to get them later and leave for the coast the next day.  They met up with Grandma and Grandpa in the RV and the kids and Koda climbed aboard the RV. Koda enjoyed napping on the couch. This pup travels so well! We made it and on day one we all hit the beach. Koda was so excited to have so much space to run. Beautiful day!  Having fun playing in the sand.  It really is the best when everyone can be there! All 5 grandkids.  Our boys have really gotten to know their cousins (Jaime's cousin's children) on the Morales side. It gives them other kids to play with at the coast.  It wouldn't be a trip to the beach without snacks. All the vehicles lined up and chairs with the adults visiting and soaking in the sun.  A little corn hole competition.  Can you believe how tall Tyler has gotten! He looks so grown up in this picture.  Liandrew and Lindsey.  Ja
