Happy Birthday Lindsey

Image
We didn't really get to celebrate Lindsey's birthday in the most exciting way. Me not feeling well and Jaime working late, made the day not really centered around Lindsey. We decided to go out for dinner to Texas Roadhouse. It's a sit-down restaurant where all our kids will eat. They don't always suggest McDonald's anymore when we ask where they want to go eat. I personally could pass on McD's any day. The kids mainly like the playground though. Another we've recently found they like is Bob's Burgers and Brew but we skip on the brew! lol The oldest three love steak and ribs. Tyler still sticks to the cheesy mac and cheese however he likes to crack open peanuts and eat them at Texas Roadhouse.  I love it when they get along so well! We have so much fun hanging out as a family any more.  Everyone around us sang, cheered and yelled a Texas Roadhouse happy birthday yee haw! She was so cute sitting up there in the saddle not sure if she shoul

Pain and Happiness

We all experience pain differently and in different ways. At the same time, we've been told we won't be given more than we can bare. Yesterday was a day filled with pain for me. I woke up about 7:30 and was heading out of my room to go wake up the girls for school. I was suddenly hit with a searing pain in my abdomen and shooting pains in my low back towards my bum too. I laid back down for a bit and it didn't lessen. I knew I needed to wake the girls so I started crawling and crying down the hall to Olivia's room. I didn't even have to walk in to her room. She heard and saw me hunched over in her doorway. She asked if I was ok. I answered honestly and said no. Lindsey heard me as well and came out to see what she could do. She helped me back in to bed. I texted Jaime and told him I was pretty sure I had another ovarian cyst. It's a pain you just don't forget.  As I laid there I remembered a Relief Society lesson where the sister teaching told us that C

Fun, Fun, and Fun with Grandparents!

This last week was my turn to teach preschool. On Tuesday only the twins showed up. It was a lot quieter and easier to manage with only four boys! On Thursday I had the entire crew. Letter 'R' was the letter of the week. We went outside to do a Relay Race with a Rock.  It really was the cutest thing to watch. You could tell it was a new thing for most of them. After a team mate handed the rock to the next person, that person would wait for the next team to be ready to run. Not quite realizing they could take off before the other team.  A couple weeks ago my boys stayed with their grandma Marcia over night because I had a doctor appointment. After my appointment I went to mom's to spend the day and bring the boys back home with me. They had a lot of fun.  And bread making is fun for any kid.  It's almost like playing in the sand.  Look at that face!! Couldn't be happier. One evening the girls were experimenting with crazy hair designs. Silly girls! Last weekend Aunt
