School Updates

Image
I do like having my girls go to the same high school that Jaime works at. Every now and then he will send me information or pictures from work.  He sent me a picture of Lindsey's softball team's state poster. This giant poster is up in the commons room above the trophy case. It's huge. Still so proud of Lindsey and her team for winning state. Such a great memory that Lindsey will have her entire life.  Jaime sent this picture of Olivia's "injury." I look pretty real, no? I knew it wasn't real though. She's too calm. lol She's taking a sports medicine class and is loving it. She's real good at what she's learned to. It really sticks with her. She's considering physical therapy or sports med as a future career path. I'm excited to see where this beautiful young woman of mine goes.

Souvenirs

We picked out souvenir shirts for each of the kids. I like to find some that seem to reflect my kids. These were all big hits. We also got a solar powered "dancing" Groot and ironman infinity gauntlet. When I first saw someone at Disneyland wearing the gauntlet I knew I had to find it. I wanted to take it home for my kids to see. I bought it and it comes with a drink because it can hold the bottle. Kinda fun.  Olivia got a kick out of using it to hold her phone. :D hahaha I knew the kids would get a kick out of it. And the stones light up! It was my favorite thing to show the kids. They didn't appreciate me telling them which rides I like the most and how fun they were. I really do want to plan a trip for our family to go. I think we'd have so much fun at Disney together. Especially since I'm not so afraid of the rides like I thought I was when we first when when the kids were young. lol It took Brian and his kids begging me to go on rides to get passed it.

Walking Along the Beach

Image
Our last day in California. We wanted to go to the beach and see the ocean. It was a little breezy but still nice to be outside walking around. We got açaí bowls and smoothies to snack on before Brian and his family left to head home to Vegas. It was so delicious. Probably the best açaí bowl I have ever had.  After Brian and Summer's crew hit the road Jaime and I took our rental car to another beach. We had a great time being able to talk and walk around. I felt his love for me and really appreciated the time that we had together. I felt so blessed that Brian was kind enough and inspired to pay for Jaime to have a day at Disneyland that allowed Jaime and I to have this Saturday together. Such a beautiful day. I truly needed this time alone with him. I'm so grateful for Brian and Summer for giving me this gift of time with Jaime at this time.

I'm so Lucky

I can't believe my luck. I was able to go to Disneyland with Brian and his family again. It's so kind of him to take me along on this trip again.  Our first day in the parks was Wednesday. We got up early in the morning for breakfast then headed to Disney. California Adventure was first.  We headed to Avengers Campus first thing. The boys were so excited! The details of these parks makes everything seem so real. I love the feeling walking into a movie.  At the Avengers Compound we saw Captain Marvel and Falcon.  We went to Radiator Springs (Carsland) to go cruising in the cars. Yep, they still have the mask wearing going on. Outside you didn't have to wear it on but indoor rides or rides that started indoor, like this one, they asked you to wear a mask.  Such a fun ride. The casual cruise and then you get to race another car to the finish.  Carsland is my favorite part of California Adventure.  Riding on Luigi's dancing cars.  I hung out with Henry on the carousel sinc
