Field Trip

I had the opportunity to go with Olivia and her 1st grade class to the planetarium. I like seeing her interact with her friends. It was educational for me as well. I'm glad I was able to go. Thanks Jodi for taking the boys!

Cuddly Wubby

My girls love things that are soft and fluffy. Olivia more so if it's a stuffed animal but she was excited to go see these tiny baby bunnies. Marcus and Miranda took Lindsey and Olivia to Miranda's to see these cuties. Lindsey wants a bunny of her own now. :) They checked out the piggies as well. Yep, I'm happy to let them get their animal fix somewhere other than my house. :)

Easter 2013

Lookie what we have here! "Yum candy so I can be even more wild!" Egg Hunt I had Tyler in a different outfit but he decided to eat chocolate and wipe his hands all over it. So yeah, I had to change him before we walked to church. Tyler in the tent with his second cousins at Jaime's aunt's house. Another egg hunt With Spring break upon us my cousin Adam and his wife and kids were able to take a couple days to come visit at my mom's. It was so good to see them! Adam is an immediate hit with kids. He was throwing them up in the air over and over, he'd race with them, and make a game out of everything. Adam you wanna come to my house and make everything a game here for my kids? lol

The Waterfront

Image
Saturday morning we walked to Pike's Market. I'd been here before but never with kids. Walking around Seattle isn't the most kid friendly atmosphere. Constant smokers, drunks yelling things. It's the first time the girls saw people come up to us asking for money. One guy had vomit and food smeared in his large beard. I felt bad for the homeless and explained to the girls why we saw people sleeping on the benches at the waterfront. I was thoroughly grossed out as I had to side step vomit and the outside bathroom that we came across. Seattle's a beautiful city...but I had very different feelings about being there this time around. The last time I went to the waterfront I was with friends from high school for a choir competition. Things I saw then didn't phase me...now with my babies with me...yeah not the best. :/ This is the largest piggie bank I've ever seen here at Pike's Market We made our way down to the Gum Wall. We each had a piece o

Chihuly Garden

We went to the Chihuly Glass Garden Museum in Seattle. It's exhibits made from glass. This enormous piece of work is ALL glass! Amazing work There are cherubs in this exhibit. Do you see the light green one in this picture? We walked under these. Chandeliers It was quite a sight seeing this type of art.  After the Chilhuly Garden we went to The Cheesecake factory for some fun visiting and good food. We got back to the hotel just as it was getting dark. Olivia was exhausted and fell asleep quickly after I put her to bed. The rest of us hung out and watched some basketball until we were ready for bed ourselves.
