Keep on Celebrating

Image
Thanksgiving may be over but Brian's birthday is right after. While he was here Mom had a birthday dinner for him Sunday evening and invited Justin and Jessica's family to join us.  I like getting pictures with all the cousins. Even though we aren't directly related to Christensen's we kind of are. With Summer and Jessica being sisters their kids are cousins and my kids are cousins with Summer and Brian's kids so that is pretty close to our kids being cousins with Christensen's. :) They are still good friends

Happy Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving Brian and his family were able to come now that they live in Oregon! With our family, Elizabeth's, Brian's, Mel and Tim, and Jon Juett's family we had quite the party.  Before we could eat anything Dad was chomping at the bit to surprise my mo with something big. Brian had Emily on FaceTime and I had Darin on my phone with Skype. Mom had lost the large diamond in her wedding ring a few months ago. Dad took the ring and he and I went to a jewelry design store where Dad picked out a new wedding ring set for Mom.  So he started with saying how he didn't propose "properly" or even have a ring when he asked her to marry him so this time he's doing it right. He got one one knee and asked Mom to marry him.  She was so surprised and giddy to be given a new ring.  It was so adorable! It was fun to have everything there to be a part of it.  The new ring! And then it was time to eat The kids in the kitchen!

Visiting Family

Image
Saturday we went to Morales' to visit and see little Liandrew. When Marty got home from work he changed in to his toke emoji t-shirt that he was given for his birthday. Whenever he sends a text he always ends it with that emoji face. I had to get a picture of him with all 5 of his grandkids. Olivia took a turn feeding Drew.  Sunday was our monthly family dinner at Mom's. We were happy to be able to see another little baby.  Jocelyn. Look at my pretty Lindsey! She's growing up so beautifully.  Tyler and a friend from school, Zachary, are on this big kick of making comic books. It's a series called Worm War. He goes through paper, paper, and more paper drawing up these comics. Zachary is the author and Tyler is the illustrator. :)

Meridian Temple

Image
When it was first announced that the church would be building a temple in Meridian Idaho I told Jaime I wanted to take the kids to the open house...however long that would be. It turned out to be a few years but the day finally came when the temple was finished and it was open to the public to walk through and view the beauty in it.  I love house massive and beefy it looks. There are a lot of stairs in it! The stair wells are pretty deep.  My Aidan and Lindsey. These two are becoming more and more alike as they get older.  Lindsey, Cami, Audrey Alex, Olivia, Lindsey, Cami, Audrey Aidan, Tyler, Carson, and Craig are behind the screen making scary noise. :) Boys Pictures at the temple We were able to work it out that we could see Andersons while we were there. As always, we feel it's been way too long since we saw each other. I still love how the kids can pick up and enjoy being together again as if they saw each other last week. Alex is getting bigge

Snow! Already!

Image
I woke up this morning to hearing the kids talking about snow!  They were sitting in the boys room watching the snow fall. I love to watch snow fall. It is pretty...but! I'm not ready to have snow. I don't want to have snow gear out yet, I don't want to have to worry about how the roads are. So I was glad that this snow didn't accumulate. We just enjoyed it falling.  This evening the kids were all getting along playing on the family room floor. It was funny to watch them play their games. I almost joined in but it was hilarious to watch them struggle and laugh as they tried to pass things with their feet.  As the girls get older they play less and less with the boys so when all four of them are playing together I feel like their all little kids again.

Tyler's Photo Shoot

Image
I can't believe we are now starting to think of Tyler's baptism. Sarah took his pictures around the temple today. He looks so much older standing there in his suit with his Book of Mormon.  A little missionary Can't forget one with El Libro De Mormon This is one of my favorites He's always had the smile that lights up the entire face.  He looks older than 8 in this photo. So handsome!! His baptism is still a month away but we wanted to get pictures in before Sarah has her baby (I really appreciate her doing this) and before it's too cold and everything looks gray and dead outside :) December 16th will be here before we know it!
