Last Stop: Mesa, AZ

We made it to my brother Darin's house! They welcomed us with a delicious chicken taco dinner that has more ingredients than any other taco I've had. Christy makes excellent desserts and tonight was homemade pavlova. You always know you'll eat well at Darin and Christy's.  We've had a lot of fun seeing Mesa and hanging out with Darin and his family. We even took another shot at Topgolf then had lunch at BJ's.  Swinging away! Jaime out golfed us all.  Darin giving Christy some pointers. He surprised me with his knowledge of golf.  Topgolf has quite the setup. TV, food, cooling misters, seating, and fun.  Christy and I are not golfers but we enjoyed the lesson and attempts to golf. Another amazing dessert made by Christy! The Olympics started so for opening ceremonies Christy set up some snacks in the form of the Olympic Rings. We enjoyed sitting and watching some of the events together.  After having a great time of going on walks, enjoying some much needed Arizo

Marcus wanted to take us to Topgolf.  I'd never heard of a place like this. But essentially is a bowling alley for golf! We had so much fun. Definitely room for improvement but the atmosphere and activity was great.  The kids had a great time.  Even Liandrew got in on the swing of things.  Look at that batting stance! ;) Topgolf got eveyone in the golfing mode so the kids went out and played around on Uncle Marcus's putting green. Plus, the temperature dropped to a cool 95 so it was a good time to be outside. Sorry neighbors, I tried to keep these hooligans quiet at this late hour! They were laughing so much I loved it. I love that my kids are friends and can play, joke, and laugh around together.

Aquarium and Dino World

We spent a fun filled day at the Odysea Aquarium and visiting Pangaea Land. These are fun pics we had taken at the aquarium.  I thought these sharks were so interesting! I've never heard of sharks with spinal issues.  This guy looks like a cartoon character.  This was the view from the bathroom! Right in to the shark tank.  I liked these upside down jelly fish.  Tyler has been itching to go to an aquarium lately. Sharks were by far his favorite but he also enjoyed seeing and naming all the dinosaurs.  The kids enjoyed the Dino scavenger hunt and got a small prize at the end...a mini dinosaur.  Tyler was so excited to be in an atmosphere of dinosaurs.  We hit up some Korean bbq for dinner. Olivia really ran off with this BBQing. Everyone enjoyed dinner and the kids were so good at trying new things.  We had a great evening.  Made a pit stop at a candy shop...aren't they just the sweetest,

Next Stop: Avondale, AZ

We hit the road to visit Marcus and his family.  Olivia fell in love with their English Bulldog Lola.  That's puppy love right here! I could get used to having a pool.  Marcus's set up is really nice. First on the list of things to do...swim. Tyler went in head first.  And now Lindsey! Yay Olivia! Lola comes around for some lovings.  Marcus had a new gazebo that needed to be put together. It turned into a family project. They got it up and furniture set under it in just a few days.
