Oregon Coast: Just the Boys!

Image
Grandma and Grandpa and just their grandsons for the Oregon Coast trip this year.  They took their time getting to Fort Stevens and made some stops to see the beautiful world we live in. Aidan, Liandrew, Tyler There's a good age gap but these cousins love being together and have fun whenever they can.  Marty and his brothers Ruben, Oscar, and Daniel. I hope when we're older we will still have good friendships with our siblings. I also hope that my kids seeing things like this will want to stay in touch with each other as they get older and be best friends their entire lives.  Checking out the batteries at Fort Stevens.  Dinner at Mo's! I'm so grateful my boys are friends. I even asked them one time, "Are you guys friends or just think of yourselves as brothers?" They looked at me like I was crazy and said, "uhh we're friends!" Yes!! Aidan and Tyler loves catching up with cousins of cousins while they're camping. It really is a large extended ...

She Did IT!

Lindsey finished school and graduated from BYUI with a BA in Business and Communication. She's had quite the support system. Couldn't be prouder.  We had family who couldn't make it still support her by watching the live stream online. "Look Mom!" 😁 Chaz, Wesley (Bubba), Shaylee, AJ, Lindsey, Isaac, Ethan, Macy Lindsey and Isaac have a good group of friends they get to do things with pretty regularly.  I thought it was sweet that Emma wanted to come and watch Lindsey graduate.  Isaac's family came after their son Drake had his commencement earlier for his major degree.  They do a great job taking care of each other. Still the bestest of best friends.  So proud of our girl.  Nothing like funny pictures to commemorate special times.  After graduation we took the kids out for dinner to a really yummy BBQ house. Never a dull moment with Olivia around. That bar on the back of her teeth after braces has come in handy I guess. 😂 Time with Koda. With the boy...

Jaime and I drove to Rexburg today. We're excited to be able to be here for Lindsey's graduation.  Olivia is excited we're here so she can see Koda.😁

Vegas

It wasn't long that we were in Vegas till the boys were in the pool playing with cousins.  They had a lot of fun with the water slide grotto. Either jumping off of it or sitting up in the water of it trying to shoot others in the pools with water guns.  That evening Brian took us down to the strip to sight see some things before heading to the airport to pick up Maybrie from a school event she competed at.  In the Belagio hotel/casino they had this beautiful garden area displayed. Everything was made of vegetation (some real some fake) and it was just beautiful. I loved the zebras on the couch.  It was the boys' first time being on the strip. Giant flamingos Giant chess set up. I feel like the pictures can't show how incredible this display was. And walking in to the room just smelled so fragrant with blooms and vegetation. I know it was artificially pumped in to the room but it's one of those senses that makes the displayed experience that much better.  We wait...
