Making ourselves at home

Image
When it was cold outside the kids used the garage to play in. Tyler likes to be my laundry helper, he knows how to put clothes from washer to dryer. His favorite part is watching the clothes go round and round and the water flowing in the washer. The boys in their room Liv coloring in our new kitchen Lindsey has lots of homework Now that it's warmer the kids are outside a lot! My little man, he loves sitting on the bar stools. My cupboards aren't quite all filled up yet so Tyler likes to climb inside. Or empty what's inside. Our movie night We watched Tangled We are getting more and more settled with more things getting put in their place. I know some have asked for pictures of the house. I haven't really gotten to that yet but I will soon so you can have a "tour" of the house. If you live close enough we'd love to show you around.

Is It Christmas?

No it's just birthday time. Among all the chaos of moving into our new house and making our house more of a home we took the time to celebrate the girls' birthdays.Olivia's birthday was February 21, right during the move. My sister was visiting and was kind enough to make Olivia's Hello Kitty cake. She did an awesome job and it helped me be able to get some moving done.  Everyone had a good time, including Tyler! Lindsey's Birthday

Lindsey had quite the birthday week. Two days before her birthday Lindsey had early release from school. So after school I picked her up and headed to her old school in Grandview. We took cupcakes in to her class there. The class was so shocked to see Lindsey. It was a giant dogpile as they all ran and gave her a huge group hug. After school she got to play at her best friends house. She soaked the whole day in. Friday March 18th was her birthday. We had a small party with her friends that live in the neighborhood. It was a giant playday! That night we had ice cream cones. Aidan loves ice cream! As does Tyler! Saturday morning I made flower and heart pancakes in honor of birthdays. Saturday afternoon the girls and their friends helped decorate Lindsey's cake. Fondant is like playdough for adults to play with. The kids enjoyed eating it too. That afternoon we went to Grandma's house to celebrate with family. She loves her razor scooter...she sure can fly on it too.
