A Morales Minute

Even Koda was happy to have us home. He was extra cuddly and not a one of us minded it. He misses us when we're gone and I'll admit, I miss him. It's nice to have a little one that needs some care... but not constant care. 😄  

We drove back to Brian's house on the 23rd.  Everyone was happy to be able to sit and relax. Brian made some yummy Pizookies for dessert. The kids enjoyed a day to sit around together before we all flew home early the next morning.   

I feel like I've hit the jackpot of treasure troves. Brian and I love to be together and I feel so blessed that he's wanted me to be with him and his family at Disneyland every time they go. We both really love the place and the magic it makes for us! 2020 was the first time I went with them. We went just before COVID-19 shut everything down.  Disneyland was still closed in 2021 due to COVID-19 but when 2022 came around Brian wanted to go again to help the family look forward to something fun after losing Esther in 2021. Summer was still struggling with the weight of everything so Brian asked me to go to help with the kids. We still had to wear masks while inside buildings but we were able to have a good time.  Jaime was able to come for the second day of the fun! When 2023 rolled around Brian wanted my entire family to come so Jaime and I and the kids made it in 2023. 2-22-25 Day Two! Mom and Dad had tired feet from yesterday but were troopers and ready to get their fun on for another day of walking, standing in lines, rides, and tasty treats.  I love this picture. I love getting my family in front of it every time we're here.  We got on the Incredicoaster. Dad loved it! One of the best rollercoasters he's been on. I went on the coaster three different times! It's so fun.  When I rode with Olivia she told me to keep my hands up when we went on the upside down loop. Usually I hold on then. But I listened to her and kept my hands up when going upside down! After we all went we had a couple extra passes to go on it so Brian let Dad and I go again together. It was so fun.  Walking through Cars Land. One of my favorite places. Radiator Racers is such a fun ride but the lines are crazy long. We knew mom and dad wouldn't be able to stand in line that long so we paid the extra to get the lightning pass. Brian has been trying to get us to go to Disneyland with his family again. I kept saying no. Just wasn't a good time. But then when I was with him in January for Maybrie's birthday he got to talking about Disneyland again and started looking at tickets. He was planning to take Olivia to celebrate hers and Henry's birthdays in February. I'm a sucker for his kindness is all I can say. I ended up talking to Jaime about it and we bought tickets that evening!  Mom and Dad were visiting Brian that week that he wanted to go to Disneyland so he told them they were going to Disneyland! So Brian's family, my parents, and Olivia all drove from Vegas to California. Brian and Olivia came to the airport to pick up Jaime, me, and the boys.  2-21-25 February 21st, she gets to celebrate her 19th birthday in Disneyland!
