Day Two! Mom and Dad had tired feet from yesterday but were troopers and ready to get their fun on for another day of walking, standing in lines, rides, and tasty treats.
I love this picture. I love getting my family in front of it every time we're here.
We got on the Incredicoaster. Dad loved it! One of the best rollercoasters he's been on. I went on the coaster three different times! It's so fun.
When I rode with Olivia she told me to keep my hands up when we went on the upside down loop. Usually I hold on then. But I listened to her and kept my hands up when going upside down!
After we all went we had a couple extra passes to go on it so Brian let Dad and I go again together. It was so fun.
Walking through Cars Land. One of my favorite places.
Radiator Racers is such a fun ride but the lines are crazy long. We knew mom and dad wouldn't be able to stand in line that long so we paid the extra to get the lightning pass. We paid for the lighting passes for then park but it doesn't work for this one. You have to pay for it separate. Another ploy to get more money. But with how long the ride was, and knowing everyone loves it, it was worth the extra pay to get on the ride quickly and not stand over an hour in line.
Mom and I on Mater's junkyard ride.
The sun was out and hot today! Grandpa bought everyone some soft serve ice cream from the Cozy Cone.
I liked getting turns to ride with my kids. Tyler and I ready for the Toy Story ride of games.
We love Goofy's Sky School coaster. It's a short ride but jerky and makes you laugh!
Avengers Campus. Serious movie vibes. We went on webslingers quickly before the ride shut down for technical difficulties, like it generally does. Mom was really good at that game/ride!
Summer had a few of the boys when everyone was separated doing different things. She gave them a yummy break to snack on churros.
Olivia always has waffles on her birthday. The hotel we stayed at didn't have the Mickey Mouse waffles like the hotel we've stayed at for Disneyland before. However this year Disney California Adventure started selling Mickey Mouse waffles stuffed with Nutella and dusted with powdered sugar. Olivia was set to get some. It was the day after her birthday but she still was close enough to be able to celebrate her birthday with waffles! She thoroughly enjoyed them.
Can't leave without getting our selfie in front of the wheel!
While looking through one of the shops one of the employees let Aidan and Thomas hold the Captain America shield replica. He even suggested we go outside to get pictures in front of the jeep! The guy was great. Really added to the boys' experience on Avengers Campus. It's the small gestures that can really make a moment. I was impressed with the gentleman.
These four teens had a blast being together. So glad they like to document their times together with pictures and I don't always have to be the one to say "Let's take a picture!"
Closing time! Time to leave the park but not without a quick picture. Brian and I enjoyed being here with mom and dad. I think it's how my kids feel about going to Disneyland with Jaime and I. Olivia really wanted us to come on this trip and go to Disneyland with her. So, I get you Olivia! I understand. :)
Mom and Dad's feet were killing them with all the walking we did. They laid on the bed, grabbed the lotion and massaged each other's feet. Olivia, Maybrie, Aidan, and Tyler shared the room with grandma and grandpa so when they started doing this Olivia sent me a picture. 😂 We had to go over there just so we could laugh with them. Maybe a little bit at them. The kids were just dying.
Overall, it was a great trip! Everyone is always tired after walking the parks and standing in line and having the adrenaline rush of the rides, but it's all still so fun!
