Day Trip to Kachess

Image
Lindsey and Olivia camped over night with Grandma and Grandpa Morales at Lake Kachess. Jaime, the boys and I drove up just for the day to be with everyone.  It was pretty chilly but that didn't stop the kids from getting in and playing in the water.  Lindsey and Olivia were so good to include the little cousins. Even giving them rides on the paddle board.  Tyler rarely seems cold. That boy can be out in cold weather and shorts and say he's not cold. So it was no surprise that he was in the water. Aidan stayed on the shore and kept dry. He's always cold.  Lindsey enjoys paddling around and then taking moments to float and relax on the board. All she needs is a body of water and she's as content as a fish.

Independence Day

We celebrated the 4th of July at Charbonneau park. We took lunch out there and ate lunch together.  The kids enjoyed riding on the paddle boards and swimming in the lake.  Once Anderson's got there to join us I didn't get any more pictures. The kids had fun playing while the adults swam, visited, and played games. After the lake we all went to our house for BBQ ribs for dinner. Then we all climbed up on the rooftop to watch fireworks bursting all around us. It was a great way to celebrate the freedoms we have.

Another Score for Volleyball

Image
I love playing volleyball on Wednesday nights. The running joke is if someone makes a shot in the basketball hoop. It doesn't happen often but it's happened and I like to get a picture to have proof. Way to go Bryan! And that means a win for his team. If someone makes the shot they win the volleyball game and then we start a new game. Just a fun house rule. :)

Girls Camp

I spent the week at girls camp in the kitchen. I worked with an amazing cook crew. It was exhausting but we sure had fun along the way.  The many thank you's and kind comments and appreciative gestures went a long way making it easier to be happy and keep working.  These women are amazing. I'm grateful I was able to learn from so many of them. Some have helped at girls camp before. This was my first time. And from what I heard there is lots of pressure on the cooks to have awesome daddies and skits. lol We spent any free time we had on our dances/skits. We hit it out of the park and had so much fun learning and performing for the girls. It didn't hurt that we threw out candy after each number we did. :D I was able to get out of the kitchen a bit and go see my girls and our ward. Lindsey was sitting on the bridge with some girls when I walked up.    Later they braved the little stream...it's cold!! Dipping in together and then Lindsey went to lay down. Ooooo so cold. ...

Earl Noble Family Reunion

Image
I love family reunions! The Earl Noble reunion was a great success and so many were able to make it.  The pool is always a highlight and full of cousins, aunts, and uncles.  The first day is just swimming, dinner and catching up with everyone as they get there.  Those who don't swim sit on the deck and visit and watch those swimming. Everyone enjoys just being together and see what everyone has been up to.  What do you do when you have lots of muscle around for a reunion? Recruit them to help load a piano into the trailer for my sister! They did a great job. Emily is so excited to take the piano home.  It didn't quite fit with the top lid so they removed it and then the piano slid right in. They did a great job.  After dinner was a family slide show. It's by far my favorite part of this day. It was funny and sweet at the same time.  Look at this crowd! Grandpa Noble has quite a posterity.  We listened to family memories.  Grandpa's kids all s...
