Surprise! We're in Vegas!

Brian's in visiting the boys and I to come to Vegas was two-fold. 1.)It's Maybrie's 16th birthday and he wanted us to surprise her and have the boys be a part of her murder mystery dinner party. 2.) We could surprise Olivia when she sees us at the airport. Brian asked her to come with him to help him stay awake as he had to pick up a friend late at the airport. (Me being the friend.😁)

She was so shocked!

Her excitement was so cute. She gave each of us big hugs.
Brian was so excited to secretly record her as he drove up to the airport and she saw us standing on the curb. Her expression was so good! "That's my Mom!"

The next morning we saw Brian's boys. After school we drove to pick up Maybrie from school. We hunkered down in the car so she couldn't see us until she opened the car door. She was just as surprised and so excited to see her cousins were here to celebrate her birthday!

The cake Summer's friend made was so cool. Perfect with the Class Reunion murder mystery theme.

Briana and I made the backdrop for the "reunion" photos. Each of the kids were paired up with their "spouse" and had a role to play. Everyone did such a great job!

Classic prom photos. Tyler and his date hit it off and became fast friends.

Thomas and Maybrie. She loved her party.

Olivia and Ezra were a great duo.

They get along so well together. He's really loved having her around.

Too cute! Olivia's living with them as made them all so close. She's a big sister to all of them.

Brian getting us outfitted for skiing in the morning!

Olivia's all set to go!

Aidan doesn't like the cold so it was a hard pass for him but Tyler, Olivia, and I all went skiing. Brian's a good teacher. We all caught on pretty quickly.

It wasn't as fun as the lines for the ski lifts got longer as more and more people showed up. And I now know what Brian means when he says that snowboarders are annoying. If they can't stay up they literally just sit in the middle of the run and then their friends come and do the same making long blockades so skiers can't go down the hill! I can see why other ski resorts have snow boarding and skiing hills separate. But we had a good time and Brian enjoyed sharing something he loves with us.

We enjoyed lots of time being together. The kids had a dance party in the living room, and boy do they have moves. It was cute to see Brian get into it even.

Time in the spa. Once the younger ones got out Brian and I got in. It was nice to relax and enjoy the evening.

Before heading to the airport we went to the dental office to see Olivia and say goodbye.

It gave the boys an opportunity to see Olivia in her work setting.

These boys miss their sister just as much as she misses them. It's not every parent who can say that about their kids. I am truly blessed that my kids really are friends.
