Island Park
We had our family reunion on my Dad's side a couple weeks ago. We rented a cabin in Island Park. It was right on the river, beautiful scenery and up close to animals. We went to my old college stompin' grounds at BYUI in Rexburg, we went to Yellowstone, went shopping, went canoeing, rode paddle boats, played in the river, we had lots of food and snacks, played games, stayed up late, had a Nerf gun war, and enjoyed visiting with everyone.
I haven't been to Rexburg in 7 1/2 years and it has changed so much. Campus has gotten a lot bigger, there's a lot more apartments, there are two new church buildings and right next to the temple that wasn't there when I was there either. It's beautiful.

This moose walked right up next to our cabin. We had only been there maybe an hour. So it was a good way to start the visit.
These are the falls in Yellowstone National Park. The girls LOVE waterfalls!
Grandpa holding Aidan so he can touch the river that the hot spring drained into so he could feel how warm the water was.
Aidan wasn't enjoying watching the geyser. You can see how happy he was. He was so tired that we left after we saw Old Faithful and he fell asleep in his car seat seconds after pulling out of our parking spot.
I think it's awesome that you guys made the effort to go over there, no doubt it created some good memories!
