I'm Lisa and I'm a Target Shopaholic

I love to shop at Target. I think I'm going to need to be careful once Tyler starts school. I'll be heading to Target a bit more. :)

The kids have begun to like Target too and like to go browse with me, sometimes. As long as it's not too long, and we always have to go through the toy aisles.

I follow a few different sites on Facebook and Instagram that are all about Target and sales and deals. This helps me to know when things are on sale so I've been pretty lucky with some of the items I've scored. Lots of clothes on clearance, things for the home, food, outside toys, toys and toys! Plus with my Cartwheel ap on my phone I save even more! I have a stash of toys that I got cheap for gifts for the kids or for gifts for birthdays my kids are invited to. I can't lie, it's pretty exciting to me. Hehehe I have purchased clothes for next Christmas! Clothes for Aidan to grow in to also. I didn't think I could get this crazy. I like to shop and I like to get more for my money. :)

Olivia had been eyeing these footie pajamas for a couple months but they were never on sale. Finally they were 50% off plus I got an extra 20% of with my cartwheel and an extra 5% with my Target Red Debit card! They were $5! So I didn't just get some for Olivia, I got some for Lindsey. Then the boys saw them and wanted some.

So the next day we went back to Target and got some for the boys. They will be able to wear them for a while because they are so big which makes them worth even more than the $5.

This is one of my favorite deals. This Dareway was originally $199.99. I saw it on sale after Christmas for $99.99 and there were only two left. Just last week there was one left for $59.98! I debated getting it  a couple times but didn't. I talked about it with Jaime later and we looked it up online and read about it. So what did we do? We drove to Target to see if it was still there. I was thinking that seeing it for under $60 twice and passing it up twice there was no way it would be there now that I decided to pick it up. But guess what!!?? It was still there sooooo….we bought it!

Yes, this is true. And yes....this will be our newest addition to the family. You think you're surprised! Just imagine how surprised I was! Big time let me tell you. And in case you are wondering, I am just starting my first week of month number five. Yes, I am in my second trimester already. Hard to believe it's really gone that fast. I haven't been sick at all. It's been very nice. I could easily not know that I was pregnant because I don't feel like I am. This explains why I haven't been sick. It's a boy. I wasn't sick with Aidan either. I kind of figured it was a boy and this morning confirmed that it was. Here's the little guy in action. , We got up a little after 6 a.m. and got ready to head to the hospital. The Past Week...

This past week has been a pretty laid back one. I've been getting things done on my own schedule...whenever I feel like it. Haha! Took the boys to the library, I've been making time (a.k.a. not working) to read a book for my own enjoyment, planted some flowers, made a few trips to the park with the kids, done a bit of shopping (grocery shopping at Winco is a lot of work with just me and the boys and I really have to gear up for it.), and I have been playing Sorry and Hi Ho Cherry O with Aidan quite a bit. So I have been busy just not with the normal stuff that keeps me busy on a daily basis.  I love browsing Costco with Jaime and my kids in the evening of a week day. It's not very crowded then. If there's a fun movie on the TVs we like to stop and watch a little. We stopped to watch a bit of the Avenger's in 3D...hence Aidan's glasses. :) I spent a day at Mom's with the boys. For Unto Us A Child Is Born

On Wednesday December 16th I went to the hospital at 7 a.m. to start my induction. I was already dialated to a 3 and dr. said if I wanted to have the baby I could. I didn't want to be in the hospital or recovering too close to Christmas with my entire family home for the season so I said sure! I was finally underway at 8 a.m. with pitocin. The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent in boredom and watching tv with Jaime at my side. At around 12:45 the dr. came to break my water because that usually gets things going quick. My kids have all arrived shortly after the water breaks. However, since the baby's head kind of floated up he decided to wait a bit to not risk the umbilical cord coming out first or wringing around the baby's neck. Bummer! I was so disappointed. So, on to more waiting, turning up the pitocin...again. Finally at 3:30 p.m. I was having some strong contractions and dialated 5-6.
