A Morales Minute

I went with the boys to Cub Scout day camp. They had so much fun. People in our stake are amazing when it comes to things like this. When I was in the stake primary presidency I helped with Cub Scout day camp so I know all the time and work that goes in to planning and putting on this big event for two days.   They had to use water guns to get the balls down the tarp. It's harder than it looks.  Water all toss. Tyler loved this activity.  Teamwork! A member who is big in to knights and armor and such came to show the kids his armor. It was a fun presentation. 

Happy Father's Day Jaime! You're the best Dad I could have asked for for these kids.  The kids made super cute and sweet cards/gifts for their dad. Jaime must be doing something right...the kids gifted him homemade cards and gifts of Star Wars and super heroes.  I love Aidan's card. "I'm really glad you're not like Anikin and I'm not like Luke Skywalker." Hahaha Happy Father's Day to my dad. He's taught me a lot, been patient with me, been forgiving, he's funny, has THE BEST laugh and when he gets together with his kids we have a great time.  We're missing Darin today.  We had some fun with family photos. :) I'm not sure why but years ago us girls posed for a picture like this, Charlie's Angels style, so every now and then we do it again.  Jaime's Captain Morgan stance. lol My girls are growing up so fast.   Jaime's family went camping for a weekend at Lake Easton. We didn't stay over night but drove up to spend the afternoon with them. It was perfect weather to be outside in.  Bel and Diana working on lunch. Jaime grilling the meat. We went down to the lake to sit by the water and visit.  Lindsey and Olivia love spending time with Bel. The five of us had a good time at the waters edge.  It's warm out and the view is pretty.  On the way home we met up with Andersons for dinner at Dairy Queen. Summer break has been off to a good start. 

Last day of school for the freshman! Lindsey has LOVED high school. Her confidence still amazes me. She's very goal oriented. What she sets her mind to she achieves and if it doesn't work out how she wanted she is great at turning it into something great. She has a bright future.  Last day of 7th grade! Olivia looks visibly older. Less childlike. She's had an amazing growth spurt this year requiring all new clothes. Although standing next to her friends would suggest otherwise...or they all had a growth spurt as well. She's enjoyed middle school.  Aidan and Tyler are the last to leave each morning. I'm still glad they get another year together in school. They've both grown physically and mentally. Tyler is still taller than Aidan. Tyler likes to be active and on the move and talks a lot. Aidan prefers to read or play games or anything with electronics. He's looking forward to next years Robotics club. Their 3rd and 4th grade year flew by fast they said. Tyle...
