Last Day of School!





Last day of school for the freshman! Lindsey has LOVED high school. Her confidence still amazes me. She's very goal oriented. What she sets her mind to she achieves and if it doesn't work out how she wanted she is great at turning it into something great. She has a bright future. 

Last day of 7th grade! Olivia looks visibly older. Less childlike. She's had an amazing growth spurt this year requiring all new clothes. Although standing next to her friends would suggest otherwise...or they all had a growth spurt as well. She's enjoyed middle school. 

Aidan and Tyler are the last to leave each morning. I'm still glad they get another year together in school. They've both grown physically and mentally. Tyler is still taller than Aidan. Tyler likes to be active and on the move and talks a lot. Aidan prefers to read or play games or anything with electronics. He's looking forward to next years Robotics club. Their 3rd and 4th grade year flew by fast they said. Tyler isn't ready for it to end! Which means he likes school! Yes, he even told me it's fun. :)



As soon as summer break hits we're in the pool!

Living Life Day to Day

My kids are wonderful. They are growing up into wonderful children. I love them so much. We've been very busy with this and that recently. This will be a long recap of some of what's been going on. :) The Primary Program was Sunday Sept 22. (I forgot to get a picture of them on that day but I did get pics of them the previous Sunday.) All four of them memorized their parts and stood at the microphone to say them without any hesitation at all. They were cute to watch singing the songs. Aidan was funny to watch with his gestures and making a heart with his hands through some of the songs. My parents and grandparents were able to come and watch. It was a special treat for the kids to have them there.  The Sunday this picture was taken there were hundreds of yellow butterflies all over the purple flowering bushes. Tolo

The end of January Olivia asked her friend Jonas to Tolo. He had an arm in a sling for the same injury as Olivia. However his was worse and needed surgery. I thought her way of asking was clever and cute.  The night before Tolo the girls got together for a Galentine's night of food, pampering and prepping for the dance with facials, and watching a movie.  They had quite the spread! Time for facials! I love this picture of Brynnlee, Olivia, and Makeda busting up laughing. Knowing your kids have good friends is a wonderful thing.  They watched Pride and Prejudice.  Ready for Tolo! Cute cute! The group went to downtown Richland to get some Urban like pictures.  Well Jonas said something funny! THREE Years?!?!?!

On Wednesday September 3rd, 2008 I was at my Mom's house. I started having small contractions that kept getting more frequent. When I would be talking to my mom and have to stop just to breathe we decided that I was in labor and would probably be going to the hospital that night rather than the next morning for my scheduled induction. We had dinner there and after dinner I told Jaime to go ahead and go to mutual as he was in the Young Men's presidency. I wasn't in enough pain and didn't want to go to the hospital too early. Lindsey and Olivia would stay the night since they were going to anyway so Jaime and I could just get up Thursday morning and head to the hospital to be induced into labor. We got the girls in to bed and I said good bye. My brother Darin was home and he drove me to the hospital at 8:30 p.m. I sent Jaime a message I was going and he and my dad (our ward's bishop) would meet me there.
