K. Naylor Reunion...PHOTO DUMP!

We had our family reunion on Saturday June 8. Everyone was able to come Friday evening...some later than others. For me the reunion started when I got there. It was so exciting to see everyone. Brian and Summer were here for his break from classes. They came bearing good news! (I can share this because they've already publicly shared.) They are expecting baby number three in December!

So, on to the reunion...

We spent Friday night visiting, catching up, and watching Emily and Jeremiah get the meat going for Saturday's dinner...ok some did help them but I just watched. ;)

Late-nite chillin'

Working on the meat, yum-o!

Decorations - FUUUN!

We had a scheduled list of meals and who would be preparing each one. We had breakfast and then got the day ready for the activities. The activities were mainly for the little kids but we adults had to get in there and join in some as well!

3-legged Races

 Tree climbing?

We had a few arrows from target practice get stuck up in the tree.

We called on Tarzan to get them!

Break from regular activities for some wrestling. (Think Jeremiah has Darin.)

Needle in the Haystack

Mom was able to get a straw bale from a friend. Various toys were hidden in the pile of straw. Kids dug through hunting for some treasures!

We had a scrumptious lunch then a milk and cookie bar for dessert. I had a lot of fun putting this together!

We also had random drawing give aways. It didn't work out as well as planned. Once one kids name was drawn all the kids wanted a prize then as well. So I just did all the kids names and handed out their prizes and did the adult drawings throughout the day. :)

Swimming time to cool off!

Mom made all the little girls matching skirts and the boys matching shorts. I never did get a picture of all of them wearing them.

Out for a hay ride!

Next stop...dinner! and more giveaways...
the last gift given was an anniversary gift to my parents. I compiled testimonies of our family; siblings, spouses, children, and my parents.
They were so surprised and touched. I loved putting the book together with all the pictures and testimonies. It's definitely a spirit boosting book!
Happy 37th Anniversary Dad & Mom! (June 25th)

The last activity of the day...Pinata!

Thanks for coming!
