Oh No!

We were supposed to head to my parents on Monday the 19th because there was no school being it was Martin Luther King Day. I wanted to get some laundry done before we left. I noticed the second load in the dryer had absolutely no heat. So Jaime took time along with help from Tyler to take the dryer a part.
I took this picture and loved that I got Tyler levitating the screwdriver.

Based off the look of the heating element Jaime was pretty sure it had gone out. So he ordered the part and we loaded up our laundry and headed to Grandview to do laundry and have a themed dinner and a movie with mom and dad.

Because it was national popcorn day the movie theater was giving away popcorn for $5 in any container you brought, up to 5 gallons. Well, it sounded like a fun thing to jump on so I sent the boys to go get some popcorn in a 5 gallon bucket!

They said they saw some other families going where each kid a their own 5 gallon bucket. hahaha. We took our bucket of popcorn to moms where mom made caramel popcorn with it. It was delicious!

Fast forward the week and the part to the dryer was delivered. Saturday Jaime and the boys worked to get it taken apart, replace the parts, then reassemble the dryer. And they did it all in 50 minutes, the time it took me to get a workout in! I was so thrilled that we didn't have to pay for a repair guy to come or even replace it. I told Jaime he was my hero!

I had to laugh out loud though, as soon as they saw the dryer worked, Tyler said oh good I need to do laundry because I'm out of underwear and proceeded to load up the washer with his laundry. 😂
