There's No Place Like the Temple

Mom and Dad stayed the night after the shower so they could have a shorter drive to the temple today. Because I had so many at the house I decided to make use of the many hands.

I got out the wedding announcements and had everyone help stuff and lick envelopes! It got done super quick with all the help.

Then we packed up and headed to Moses Lake since the Columbia River Temple was closed for two weeks for maintenance. Olivia was actually really excited to go to the Moses Lake temple since we went to the open house.

It was a good experience for Olivia. She felt she was well prepared and felt the Spirit while there. I hope she felt as good as I did when she walked in to the celestial room and was greeted by all her family.

Emily, Jeremiah, William, and Rachel drove all the way from California for this! They won't be able to make it to the wedding so they made the effort to come for this weekend. It was a fun surprise for Emma. We didn't tell her they were coming. 😁

I love that Elizabeth comes and supports us whenever she can. Aidan and Tyler weren't able to be with Olivia but they still wanted to come to the temple. So they and William did baptisms while Rachel was so good to just wait in the waiting room. After the boys were done they got Rachel and the four of them went down the road to Wendy's to get a fun snack.

Isaac, Olivia, and Lindsey
Who would have thought that these two would be how Olivia would meet her future husband.

These four spend lots of time together in Rexburg and I have a feeling it'll continue on that way while they're all living there until they finish school.

I love how supportive of Olivia Chaz is. I've enjoyed talks with him and plans that he has for their future.

Chaz's mom flew up from Arizona for the bridal shower and to attend the temple with us! I loved that she came and it was so fun to have more time to visit with her before the wedding.

After we got back from Moses Lake we had everyone over for dinner. It gave time for Sheila and Chaz to get to know more of my family.
Later we played some games and just enjoyed each other's company, especially since Jeremiah and Emily would be leaving the next day.
