Weekender Road Trip

We took a quick but fun trip to Seattle March 22-23. We made this trip for the purpose of taking my sister Lori so she could sight see Seattle. We left Aidan and Tyler at my mom's and took the girls with us. We left Thursday the 21st to drop the boys off and put them to bed. Then we went to Lori's to stay the night. We left Yakima just after 8 a.m. on Friday. (The girls only had half a day of school due to conferences and Jaime was able to have a day off.) Our first stop, the American Girl store. I love this place! I love dolls. I always have. Lindsey and Olivia were so excited to go. Lindsey with Saige the girl of 2013 Olivia and Saige The girls had picked out a couple accessories that they wanted to get. Jaime walked up to them and asked, "You didn't want to get a doll?" The girls squealed with excitement and ran to get the dolls they wanted. Lindsey picked Saige Olivia picked Josephina (She's such a beautiful doll! Well they a...

Lindsey asked to have a few friends over for her birthday this year. I should have done it for her 8th but just didn't get around to planning one and instead I took her out for the day. We didn't have many free weekends in March and I wasn't sure when to have a friend party along with the usual family party. So I combined it...sort of. They loved running up and down the stairs and through the house during the scavenger hunt reading the clues. I only wish I had made it longer because they did so well and loved it.  Remember Olivia claimed the Husky picture and Lindsey claimed the W?  Nothing fancy. I like simple cakes...less stress and time for me. :) Clothes for her American girl doll. Lots of Legos :) New roller blades and shawl I love this beautifu...

The boys like to ride bikes and cars in the garage on cold days...it's also a way to let Tyler get some exercise and keep him contained so he's not running around the block. ;) Tyler was recently given a BLUE Care Bear from Lindsey. His favorite color is blue so he became attached to this bear quickly. He still will fall asleep during the day but not as often. I don't remember why Aidan was so sad here but he's still the cutest sad kid. I cheered him up by taking pictures of him and Tyler. These are a few pictures I got of my boys. They actually sat still just for me to snap a few. They have so much fun together. I get asked if they are twins all the time.  Olivia was given two of the same Lego sets for her birthday. We took her to Toys R Us to exchange one. I wasn't the least bit surprised to see her walk out hugging this giant polar bear. Her heart is as soft as these animals she collects.  Speaking...
