I recently often find my camera with random shots of walls, carpet, beds, partial bodies. Aidan wants to be a photographer but I think he needs some work.
I invited my nephew James to come stay with us for a week. He's been so much fun to have around. We've had good Sunday and FHE meetings with him, game time - lots of games, and I've just enjoyed his humor and seeing him spend time with my kids. More games and smoothies. And having three boys to mow the lawn sure gets the job done quick! They were so helpful and happy to work together. A cute Koda napping picture for us to enjoy. 😊
Tyler is four weeks today. He smiles quite a bit, it's adorable. It has gone by pretty fast but been very busy all at the same time. After Tyler was born we celebrated Jaime and his twin sister's birthday on the 21st and after that of course was Christmas. My entire family was in town for Christmas. I was so excited to spend it with all my brothers and sisters. The gifts under or should I say around the tree. It took hours to open them all. We stayed the night at my mom's so that we could all be together Christmas morning. On Christmas Eve it's a tradition for our family to some how read, sing, or act out the Christmas story. October, that time of year when leaves turn color and start to fall, grape harvest is on, I turn a year older, and we plan a fun weekend getaway! Yes I turned Thirty ONE-derful. The prime of life...or so they say. Whoever "they" are, but regardless, I'm feeling great about my life. Wonderful marriage, great kids, healthy, well established, great area to live in, great friends to be around, extended family close by...yeah I'd say I have it pretty good. On Sunday October 7th, Jaime asked me if I could have anything I wanted, what would I like for my birthday dinner. I said Mexican food sounded great. I thought it was just a question of wonder. On Monday I wasn't feeling up to making myself a birthday dinner, mainly because I made a great dinner on Sunday for Conference and considered that to be my dinner.
