Another Year Older

We celebrated Olivia's birthday on the 18th. Saturday just makes it easier for family to be able to come over to join us. 


She's 11! Next year she will be graduating from Primary and join the Young Women group at church. 

Dad and Darin being silly. It's been so fun having Darin's family closer. Kentucky was so far away. And now, they're in the possible plans of having to move to South Carolina! 
Washington Huskies slippers. She was asking for slippers just before Christmas, after I was all done shopping for Christmas. I'm glad she was given these now though. :) 

A Zoomer Pup! Olivia loves animals, as long as they're fake. 


The new Disney movie Moana is super cute. Olivia asked for Moana Legos. Aunt Bel and Uncle Chris pull through for a big win!

I got her a bunch of clothes. She's growing! It seems all the kids are growing at the same rate and they have all needed new clothes in the just the past few months. She's happy with all the pants and shirts I got for her. Nothing to be returned! Win for me!

Emily Daw is still Olivia's best friend. These two are a whole head height in size difference but they've got a pretty special bond. Emily surprised Olivia with a candy gram for her birthday. 

Olivia is still the sweet little mother hen she's always been. She loves little kids, being helpful, playing with friends, playing make believe, and stuffed animals. I go in her room to wake her up almost every morning. When I see her sleeping I still see the little chubby cheeked baby I'd watch sleep 11 years ago. Time really isn't on our side. Sometimes I wish I could just slow down the moments.

Yes, this is true. And yes....this will be our newest addition to the family. You think you're surprised! Just imagine how surprised I was! Big time let me tell you. And in case you are wondering, I am just starting my first week of month number five. Yes, I am in my second trimester already. Hard to believe it's really gone that fast. I haven't been sick at all. It's been very nice. I could easily not know that I was pregnant because I don't feel like I am. This explains why I haven't been sick. It's a boy. I wasn't sick with Aidan either. I kind of figured it was a boy and this morning confirmed that it was. Here's the little guy in action. , We got up a little after 6 a.m. and got ready to head to the hospital. My mom showed up at 6:45 to watch the other three at home for us. Thanks Mom! For Unto Us A Child Is Born

On Wednesday December 16th I went to the hospital at 7 a.m. to start my induction. I was already dialated to a 3 and dr. said if I wanted to have the baby I could. I didn't want to be in the hospital or recovering too close to Christmas with my entire family home for the season so I said sure! I was finally underway at 8 a.m. with pitocin. The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent in boredom and watching tv with Jaime at my side. At around 12:45 the dr. came to break my water because that usually gets things going quick. My kids have all arrived shortly after the water breaks. However, since the baby's head kind of floated up he decided to wait a bit to not risk the umbilical cord coming out first or wringing around the baby's neck. Bummer! I was so disappointed. So, on to more waiting, turning up the pitocin...again. Finally at 3:30 p.m. I was having some strong contractions and dialated 5-6. The Past Week...

This past week has been a pretty laid back one. I've been getting things done on my own schedule...whenever I feel like it. Haha! Took the boys to the library, I've been making time (a.k.a. not working) to read a book for my own enjoyment, planted some flowers, made a few trips to the park with the kids, done a bit of shopping (grocery shopping at Winco is a lot of work with just me and the boys and I really have to gear up for it.), and I have been playing Sorry and Hi Ho Cherry O with Aidan quite a bit. So I have been busy just not with the normal stuff that keeps me busy on a daily basis.  I love browsing Costco with Jaime and my kids in the evening of a week day. It's not very crowded then. If there's a fun movie on the TVs we like to stop and watch a little. We stopped to watch a bit of the Avenger's in 3D...hence Aidan's glasses. :) I spent a day at Mom's with the boys.
