Happy Halloween

We squeezed some time to carve pumpkins just before Halloween!

This was the first year in a while that no one wanted to use a stencil or pattern and just free hand their pumpkins. They turned out great. The best part, the kids are getting better at being able to do their own pumpkins. They get a sense of accomplishment when they do it on their own.

Ready for trick or treaters! Those light up ghosts were a big hit. Everyone loves them. I had many people compliment and comment on them when they came to the door.

My little monsters. Jaime took the boys along with Olivia and Emily. Lindsey is now so grown up that she trick or treated a bit with friends then when to Kellen's house for a halloween party. I'm sure that's the first of many to come.

The usual end to our Halloween night. We watch Hocus Pocus while the kids dump out their candy and trade what they want with each other. What they don't want goes back in our candy bin to hand out to trick or treaters.
