What We Like to do in Utah

We like to fill our days with so many things to see when we go to Utah. While we were there we also went to Heritage Park (Or This is the Place). We've come before when the kids were younger but they still wanted to go because they had so much fun the last time we were there. Even I wanted to go I thought it was so neat.

This ship turned out smaller than the kids remembered. Or perhaps the kids are just bigger now ;p

Spinning thread

The old school house.

The kids received short lessons and learned what it was like going to school in the early days of the saints in Salt Lake. Even learned how they punished.

A short lesson on the Deseret Alphabet was given. Tyler showed what he'd learned.

These tiny cabins that entire families would live in is really a humbling thought for me.

Doing laundry

We couldn't go without Brigham's Donuts! They'r so good warm and fresh.

Learning how to walk on stilts.

Laundry and bear on a rope race

The old plows were available to let visitors work in the yard.

It felt like the perfect family day!

After Heritage Park we went to check out the store called Scheel's.

It's like Cabella's but I think it's bigger and slightly better.

This fish tank is amazingly beautiful. Tyler was happy to see Dory from the Disney movie Finding Nemo.

Like Cabella's there's taxidermy, or as it's been said before, The Dead Animal Zoo. hahaha

They played a target shooting game.

Tyler's playing dead so the bear with leave him alone

This was the cutest thing I saw all day. I love that Aidan and Tyler are friends.
