Vegas Here We Come!


On Saturday June 27 we boarded a plane to go to Las Vegas and see Brian's family

Brian picked us up at the airport and then we met his family  on the Strip. We were so excited to finally all be together! Our first stop was taking the kids to M&M World and Hershey's Chocolate World. 




So many different colors and flavors of M&Ms and lots of giant chocolate bars!

Jaime fighting back. There was quite the water gun fight. 

Darin and his family came up to spend the weekend with us while we were there. Due to his MS it's hard for him to be in cooler water so he enjoyed the hot tub and shooting water from there to those in the pool. 

The play was fun.

Ahhh, one of the main reasons for the trip. Brian removed Lindsey's wisdom teeth. It was "Take your sister to work day" haha. But really, it was fun to see Brian work. He did a great job at taking care of his niece. He was great at helping her relax and explained what was going on as he took out her wisdom teeth. 

It was fun watching Brian work. He did a good job. He got all four of them removed in under an hour. Lindsey was a champ. She handled the pressure in her mouth well. Stayed calm and listened to music while she laid there. 

She had some bigguns'! 
She's now happily resting on the couch watching a musical. It was the first thing she asked for. 

On Sunday we had church in Brian's home. It's the biggest sacrament meeting we've attended since the covid shut down. lol

I loved being with so many of my family. 

Ezra and Henry are cute little side kicks. So adorable. 

Jaime spent a little time with Makaela. I thought it was such a cute moment to catch. He was sharing with her messages from her teacher she had when attending Jaime's school when she lived in Pasco. This teacher adored Makaela and was sad when they moved. 

Henry's my little buddy. 

Elise's birthday is July 2 and Darin's is July 7th. We wanted to celebrate them while we were all together. 

We made Darin a fruit cake out of watermelon and other fruits so that he could eat something sweet yet healthy. 

I love my brothers. I'm so grateful Darin was able to drive up from Pheonix while we were here. 

Fooseball tournaments. Christy has game! She beat us all.

We went out for a walk and took a brief stop at the neighborhood park. Darin and Jaime...silly guys. 



One afternoon I got some alone time outside at the pool Henry came out and joined me.


The cousins had so much fun together. Here they're working on a play. Talking about their parts. They were laughing when they'd record. Do silly outtakes even. 

Brian took Jaime and I on a hike on July 1st. 



On July 2nd we went out for more site seeing. Lindsey wanted get our picture at the Fabulous Las Vegas sign. We made sure to check it off her bucket list. :)

My kids are wonderful. They are growing up into wonderful children. I love them so much. We've been very busy with this and that recently. This will be a long recap of some of what's been going on. :) The Primary Program was Sunday Sept 22. (I forgot to get a picture of them on that day but I did get pics of them the previous Sunday.) All four of them memorized their parts and stood at the microphone to say them without any hesitation at all. They were cute to watch singing the songs. Aidan was funny to watch with his gestures and making a heart with his hands through some of the songs. My parents and grandparents were able to come and watch. It was a special treat for the kids to have them there.  The Sunday this picture was taken there were hundreds of yellow butterflies all over the purple flowering bushes. Tolo

The end of January Olivia asked her friend Jonas to Tolo. He had an arm in a sling for the same injury as Olivia. However his was worse and needed surgery. I thought her way of asking was clever and cute.  The night before Tolo the girls got together for a Galentine's night of food, pampering and prepping for the dance with facials, and watching a movie.  They had quite the spread! Time for facials! I love this picture of Brynnlee, Olivia, and Makeda busting up laughing. Knowing your kids have good friends is a wonderful thing.  They watched Pride and Prejudice.  Ready for Tolo! Cute cute! The group went to downtown Richland to get some Urban like pictures.  Well Jonas said something funny! They both have their slings off but they felt the handicap sign was appropriate for them. 😂 What a group of girls. Glad they have fun together.  I love the lights! THREE Years?!?!?!

On Wednesday September 3rd, 2008 I was at my Mom's house. I started having small contractions that kept getting more frequent. When I would be talking to my mom and have to stop just to breathe we decided that I was in labor and would probably be going to the hospital that night rather than the next morning for my scheduled induction. We had dinner there and after dinner I told Jaime to go ahead and go to mutual as he was in the Young Men's presidency. I wasn't in enough pain and didn't want to go to the hospital too early. Lindsey and Olivia would stay the night since they were going to anyway so Jaime and I could just get up Thursday morning and head to the hospital to be induced into labor. We got the girls in to bed and I said good bye. My brother Darin was home and he drove me to the hospital at 8:30 p.m. I sent Jaime a message I was going and he and my dad (our ward's bishop) would meet me there.
