Before Olivia Goes

Jaime joined Olivia and I for lunch. We wanted to have a lunch out with her before we took her to Rexburg tomorrow morning.  

Later in the afternoon we headed to Tyler's football game. It was a very rainy day to sit out in a football game. After enjoying some warmer Fall weather we get this. 

Tyler didn't realize that Olivia would be leaving tomorrow. When we told the boys to give her a big hug tonight because she will be leaving tomorrow Tyler teared up. These two have gotten so close the last couple years. I had to try hard to fight back tears, it didn't work. 
Seeing this made me remember two years ago...

the night before we took Lindsey to Rexburg Olivia couldn't stop crying. Lindsey, being the brave big sister hugged and consoled and cried with Olivia. Saying goodbye to my kids is so hard. Seeing my kids sad about siblings moving out is even harder. I'm always so grateful for the relationships my kids have.

THREE Years?!?!?!

On Wednesday September 3rd, 2008 I was at my Mom's house. I started having small contractions that kept getting more frequent. When I would be talking to my mom and have to stop just to breathe we decided that I was in labor and would probably be going to the hospital that night rather than the next morning for my scheduled induction. We had dinner there and after dinner I told Jaime to go ahead and go to mutual as he was in the Young Men's presidency. I wasn't in enough pain and didn't want to go to the hospital too early. Lindsey and Olivia would stay the night since they were going to anyway so Jaime and I could just get up Thursday morning and head to the hospital to be induced into labor. Living Life Day to Day

My kids are wonderful. They are growing up into wonderful children. I love them so much. We've been very busy with this and that recently. This will be a long recap of some of what's been going on. :) The Primary Program was Sunday Sept 22. (I forgot to get a picture of them on that day but I did get pics of them the previous Sunday.) All four of them memorized their parts and stood at the microphone to say them without any hesitation at all. They were cute to watch singing the songs. Aidan was funny to watch with his gestures and making a heart with his hands through some of the songs. My parents and grandparents were able to come and watch. It was a special treat for the kids to have them there.  The Sunday this picture was taken there were hundreds of yellow butterflies all over the purple flowering bushes. Time with James

  I invited my nephew James to come stay with us for a week. He's been so much fun to have around. We've had good Sunday and FHE meetings with him, game time - lots of games, and I've just enjoyed his humor and seeing him spend time with my kids.  More games and smoothies. And having three boys to mow the lawn sure gets the job done quick! They were so helpful and happy to work together.  A cute Koda napping picture for us to enjoy. 😊
