New Kid on Campus

We made it to Rexburg and immediately got Olivia moved in to her apartment. She's rooming with a friend from high school. That'll be a big help for Olivia since she wasn't quite ready to leave home yet. After her stuff was all unpacked we went to pick up her groceries. 

Lindsey and Isaac helped as well. Isaac helped get the lights up on the wall. Lindsey helped get Olivia's kitchen drawers organized. 

She has a cute set up. On suite bathroom even. That's why she and Makeda wanted this specific room. Having Lindsey living in Rexburg already allowed her to go and check in ASAP for Olivia and put a suitcase on Olivia's bed to claim the room. haha. 

We walked around campus with Lindsey and Isaac. Showing Olivia where each of her classes would be. We got her books picked up as well. 

Olivia is so funny. The first picture shows her real feelings. haha She's not super excited to be going to college. But I know she will have some good experiences. Having Lindsey and Isaac here will help give her some home comfort. And I have no doubt that Lindsey will have her over for some yummy meals. Already they're talking about Saturday mornings having Olivia over for breakfast and football. Totally keeping memories from home alive.

Jaime and I dropped Olivia off to her apartment for the night. She didn't want us to leave but I did tell her we'd see her the next day. Just before I went to bed Olivia sent me a picture of her room with the lights on. It looks so cool. She loves ambient lighting like I do. It was hard to not have Olivia come back to the hotel with us but I feel like it's better to let her stay the night in her apartment since she's moved in. We did the same with Lindsey. I cried. I know they cried. It's not a bad thing. It just says we love each other and enjoy being together. 💛

The next moving we picked up Olivia and went to Lindsey and Isaac's to make some breakfast. I did enjoy seeing Lindsey and Isaac in their home together. It's cute to see them excited for their own space and using their new wedding gifts. 

Then it was time for Jaime and I to go. It was hard to say goodbye. Olivia stayed at Lindsey's after we left. She wasn't ready to go be without family I think. 

September 16 - classes start!

Olivia sent me her first day of school picture! It made my heart happy to see her even though I couldn't be with her on this day. 

Lindsey's first day of school pictures! She's feeling so much more confident now. She knows how things at school work and the ins and outs of campus.

THREE Years?!?!?!

On Wednesday September 3rd, 2008 I was at my Mom's house. I started having small contractions that kept getting more frequent. When I would be talking to my mom and have to stop just to breathe we decided that I was in labor and would probably be going to the hospital that night rather than the next morning for my scheduled induction. We had dinner there and after dinner I told Jaime to go ahead and go to mutual as he was in the Young Men's presidency. I wasn't in enough pain and didn't want to go to the hospital too early. Lindsey and Olivia would stay the night since they were going to anyway so Jaime and I could just get up Thursday morning and head to the hospital to be induced into labor. Living Life Day to Day

My kids are wonderful. They are growing up into wonderful children. I love them so much. We've been very busy with this and that recently. This will be a long recap of some of what's been going on. :) The Primary Program was Sunday Sept 22. (I forgot to get a picture of them on that day but I did get pics of them the previous Sunday.) All four of them memorized their parts and stood at the microphone to say them without any hesitation at all. They were cute to watch singing the songs. Aidan was funny to watch with his gestures and making a heart with his hands through some of the songs. My parents and grandparents were able to come and watch. It was a special treat for the kids to have them there.  The Sunday this picture was taken there were hundreds of yellow butterflies all over the purple flowering bushes. Time with James

  I invited my nephew James to come stay with us for a week. He's been so much fun to have around. We've had good Sunday and FHE meetings with him, game time - lots of games, and I've just enjoyed his humor and seeing him spend time with my kids.  More games and smoothies. And having three boys to mow the lawn sure gets the job done quick! They were so helpful and happy to work together.  A cute Koda napping picture for us to enjoy. 😊
