Time in Arizona

Night swims! 

Laying out in the sun during the day! 
I like coming to Arizona because the evenings it's still warm outside that we can be out playing and having a good time but not sweltering hot. The days are so hot but it's great to be out poolside and then dip in the pool to cool off. 

Koda has picked his person between Marty and Diana. He likes to follow Diana when I'm not around. It's cute that she likes him too. 

June 26th 
Keeping up with our goal of going to the temple to do baptisms every month this year! Tyler has wanted to go to the Mesa temple since we came to the Easter Pageant. We made it happen this month. It was great that Christy dropped off Makaela so she could join us. 

Every time we go someone comments on our boys. They're such good kids.

After the temple we went to spend the day at Darin and Christy's. Christy provided a yummy lunch and we enjoyed catching up with her and the girls. And spending time with their pups. 

Sampson is their newest. Little maltipoo. He's so tiny and cute. Love watching him walk and how his front paws just kick out so fast. It's adorable. 
We had a good day at Darin's. He was home for dinner and then we watched a movie outside in their backyard. We stayed the night and then the next morning we picked Olivia up from the airport then took her to First Watch for brunch with Darin's family before we headed back to the Morales house in Avondale. 

June 27

Another night outside swimming, playing, and apparently dancing. Olivia enjoyed showing the boys how to do the Mexican dance to one of her and Lindsey's favorite songs. 

June 28
Aidan has started his running start courses through CBC with a couple of online classes. He was doing a computer class and one of his problems was quite the stumper and had multiple people working on it. 😄 I like how they all step up to help anyone in this family. I love them. 

After Aidan got his work done we headed out to a card show. Yes, a card show. Something I never thought I'd see in person. Marcus and Aide wanted to take Liandrew to the card show for Pokemon cards. 

This place was insane. Lots of Pokemon cards, sports cards, comic books, collectibles. It was fun for Jaime to look at the baseball cards and see some of the ones he has and how much they're worth. He's got some pretty hot cards. He even has Griffey's rookie card!

Look at them, enjoying being together at the nerd show. haha That's what Olivia calls it. Nerd club. 

After the card show we grabbed some lunch then headed to the baseball game to watch the Diamond backs. 

Being with my people is the best!

We enjoyed our game time. I never really enjoyed watching baseball until I married into this family. It's not quite as boring as I used to think. lol Also, it is different being there in person. It's a fun experience.


June 29
This is summer!

But then we had to say goodbye to Olivia. She just had a weekend to come down while we're here before flying back for classes at BYUI. She's having a lot of fun at school but she still has such strong relationships with family and she loves to be with us. I can't express my gratitude for kids enough. 

June 30th
Time to say goodbye to Arizona. Jaime rented a car, we packed up and ready to head on to Brian's in Las Vegas.

Breakfast for Jaime. Banana pancakes, bacon, hash browns and OJ.  Aidan and Tyler wanted to make cookies with Jaime for Father's Day. I thought it was such a sweet gesture. Olivia was a bit bummed she couldn't be here for it as she feels it's been a thing for her and Jaime to make chocolate chip cookies together. I told her she's here in spirit. The kids all called Jaime to wish him a Happy Father's Day. We need to enjoy these last few years of having kids home for these smaller holidays. Before I know it we won't have any of them here for them.  P.S. Can't believe I didn't get a picture of Jaime with the boys!

THREE Years?!?!?!

On Wednesday September 3rd, 2008 I was at my Mom's house. I started having small contractions that kept getting more frequent. When I would be talking to my mom and have to stop just to breathe we decided that I was in labor and would probably be going to the hospital that night rather than the next morning for my scheduled induction. We had dinner there and after dinner I told Jaime to go ahead and go to mutual as he was in the Young Men's presidency. I wasn't in enough pain and didn't want to go to the hospital too early. Lindsey and Olivia would stay the night since they were going to anyway so Jaime and I could just get up Thursday morning and head to the hospital to be induced into labor. We got the girls in to bed and I said good bye. My brother Darin was home and he drove me to the hospital at 8:30 p.m. I sent Jaime a message I was going and he and my dad (our ward's bishop) would meet me there. They're Home!!

Isaac, Lindsey, Olivia, and Emma came home for Memorial Day weekend! I loved having them here. We had fun playing games.  Aidan was at a friends house for game night so we wasn't here this time. But Makayla came and joined in the fun! She comes over so that Olivia can have time with her and family. I love it! But he was here when we played guess the song. It was a fun game. Everyone enjoyed trying to guess it first. Depending on the topic some were pretty easy to guess (Disney) and some were pretty hard, like from movies that were pretty old.  I glad they want to come home. I hope they always know they're welcome and will want to come often. We like having special nights like this where everyone just laughs and enjoys being together.
