Merry Christmas!

We were up late opening gifts with extended family on Christmas Eve so needless to say, we got to bed really late. It felt like I had hardly been asleep when the kids came in to wake us up. I had to chuckle that it was Lindsey coming in to wake us up because that girl struggles to get up in the morning...at 10am!! It was just cute that all 5 (yes 5, Isaac was right there as well) came in to our room to wake us up just like they have every year since they were little. It's cute that they want to continue to live the magic and feel like they did when they were little kids.

It was just the seven of us at 6:30am opening the gifts that we got for the kids. Everyone else was still asleep. In the low light of the Christmas tree, we checked out all the kids "Santa" gifts next to their stockings. Then Jaime began handing out gifts to the kids. Again, here are just some of the pictures. I didn't take pictures of very gift they opened and I have never been good of having them take a picture with all their gifts at the end of opening them up.

Tyler has gotten in to comics.

Olivia's Dubai truffles.

Lindsey got some baking things like a rolling pin and silicone muffin pan. Isaac got a really cool red camo Xbox controller.

Aidan got a light set to add to his Star Wars Lego set.

Lindsey had her eye on this cute patterned Hydrojug so she was thrilled to open it.

Koda loved Olivia's blanket she got from Chaz and his parents.

After Grandma and Grandpa woke up we had them check the goods in their stockings.

Getting filled stockings for Christmas is a new thing for Jaime's family so it was fun to have them open them up and have a few small gifts from us added to them.

Then it was time for omelettes. I think my favorite part about this when we're with Jaime's family is that Jaime and his Dad work together to make everyone's individual breakfast.

And they come out delicious every time!

The rest of the day we spent relaxing, playing, even swimming, and just being together.

Olivia and Liandrew snuggled up in her blanket...oh and Koda is still attached to the blanket. Olivia may need to leave for him!

When the sun is out, Lindsey is out!

What a beautiful Christmas afternoon to just be sitting outside soaking in sun and warmth.

Chris and Isaac playing ping pong...

Tyler, Valeria, and Liandrew playing soccer. I must say, this is our first Christmas Day spent outside in warm weather.

Nothing like seeing my favorite people are all under one roof! Well, same location anyway. Looks like some are outside haha. It was such a great day! It really was better than expected. It was a day of just happiness. What a way to celebrate our Savior!
