Forget the binky! My Little Leprechaun He almost doesn't need the fake ears!

I have a SiX Year OLD!

Image
She desperately wanted a butterfly cake. Somehow, I managed to pull it off. She got lots and lots of cool stuff...here's just some from our family birthday party She LOVES the new Barbie movie!!! New clothes for her "Kirsten" doll that she got for Christmas. Tinkerbell Dishes... And of course lots of clothes! Hey what girl doesn't want new clothes! Hard to believe I'm old enough to have one this old...but I am. (I know, I don't look like I could, do I! hehehehe)

Recent findings...

Image
Tyler smiles and laughs A LOT. He is very ticklish. I like my new bathroom sink/counter much better than the OLD one. Jaime amazes me more and more with all the home improvements he has done. Before... After... My kids play with the camera... Tyler sleeps VERY well at night or napping all bundled up in his swaddle blanket. It's a straight jacket for babies I say. Thanks for the recommendation Adam and Brandi! It's a life saver, more like a sleep saver. Aidan is allergic to cashews. He had only half of ONE! He was all red and had hives and itched all over. Poor guy. These pics don't show how bad it was really. Well, this isn't a recent finding. I love these little chocolate eggs. It's just recent that I could get them however, because Easter is around the corner. Thanks a bunch for getting them for me Jaime. yummmo!

Happy Birthday Olivia

Image
Olivia is four and now because she is, she seems to instantly be able to do things she couldn't before. She's always saying how she can...reach the sink now that she's four, eat better (occasionally) because she's four. She's so funny. She totally enjoys being four now. She said that funniest thing. "It's fun being four, it was boring when I was three." I however, know that she had LOTS of fun and good memories when she was three. Pancakes for her birthday dinner... Delicious cake made by Liv's directions on shape and decor (well I did the decor)... She loves her silky blankets...Grandma Marcia made her a large princess one. Olivia (and Lindsey) love Batman and Transformers. Liv was stoked to get Transformers dishes... And some other things she was given...it's still not all of it!

The Last 4 Weeks

Image
Tyler is four weeks today. He smiles quite a bit, it's adorable. It has gone by pretty fast but been very busy all at the same time. After Tyler was born we celebrated Jaime and his twin sister's birthday on the 21st and after that of course was Christmas. My entire family was in town for Christmas. I was so excited to spend it with all my brothers and sisters. The gifts under or should I say around the tree. It took hours to open them all. We stayed the night at my mom's so that we could all be together Christmas morning. On Christmas Eve it's a tradition for our family to some how read, sing, or act out the Christmas story. This year all of the grandkids played the parts as my Dad read the story out of the scriptures. Lindsey was Mary and held Tyler for the baby Jesus. She did very well and he slept of course. My brother Darin played Joseph to help hold Tyler and mainly because Lindsey's cousin Jacob didn't want to participate. Olivia was a wise man (she was h...

For Unto Us A Child Is Born

Image
On Wednesday December 16th I went to the hospital at 7 a.m. to start my induction. I was already dialated to a 3 and dr. said if I wanted to have the baby I could. I didn't want to be in the hospital or recovering too close to Christmas with my entire family home for the season so I said sure! I was finally underway at 8 a.m. with pitocin. The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent in boredom and watching tv with Jaime at my side. At around 12:45 the dr. came to break my water because that usually gets things going quick. My kids have all arrived shortly after the water breaks. However, since the baby's head kind of floated up he decided to wait a bit to not risk the umbilical cord coming out first or wringing around the baby's neck. Bummer! I was so disappointed. So, on to more waiting, turning up the pitocin...again. Finally at 3:30 p.m. I was having some strong contractions and dialated 5-6. My mother-in-law came to visit at 4 and Jaime told her that it would probab...

The Joys of the Christmas Season

Image
I love this time of year. The kids absolutely love all the lights and decorations. The other night we just drove around looking at Christmas lights. Even Aidan enjoyed it as he pointed out the window at some.
