I'm also thankful for...
When Lindsey smiles her face beams. She can bounce into a room with so much energy that I wonder what constantly runs through her mind. When she's around unfamiliar people she acts a little more reserved and shy. She doesn't want to take dance or singing lessons because of the fear of performing in front of others. Even though she has so many friends around here that she could go to lessons with and have someone there she already knows.
She played on a soccer team for the first time this summer and it turned out to be something she really enjoyed. She was fine having crowds watch because she was so caught up in the sport. Lindsey LOVES to read. She already reads books over again. She can be reading three different chapter books at a time. She'll have one at school and two at home that she'll read at night before bed. If she's really into the book she'll sit in her favorite chair and read it before dinner. Lindsey looks like a school girl now rather than a small girl ending toddlerhood. I can still picture her on her first day of kindergarten. She looks so much older now but it doesn't seem long enough for her to change that much.
I appreciate that she likes to help her siblings. She'll get them breakfast occassionally on the weekends if I'm sleeping still. I love, love her so much and can't thank my Heavenly Father enough for sending her to our family.
She looks beautiful! Aren't the first ones the greatest!!
