Olivia is Double Digits!!

We celebrated Olivia's 10th birthday with my family on Valentine's day. Our monthly Sunday dinner's with my family. It just worked out to celebrate her birthday then since everyone was coming. 

Christy offered to make Olivia's birthday cake and Olivia could help. She loves baking and learning how to do things in the kitchen...fun stuff. She's not a fan of doing dishes. ;)

The cake looked pretty awesome!




Emily Daw and her mom took Olivia out to dinner for her birthday one evening and they gave her this emoji pillow. She things these pillows are so fun. 

We celebrated her birthday on her birthday, February 21st with Jaime's family. 
Bel and Chris gave her lots of fun nail art stuff. 

Grandma and Grandpa Morales got her a new Calico Critter townhouse. I adore these little critters.

She was pretty surprised to open up a new American Girl doll, Grace. I was surprised too. (Not on this day but a few weeks prior) Jaime had purchased the doll months ago when it was on sale and free shipping and had it sent to Bel's house so there wasn't any tax to pay. I'm not sure why he didn't tell me he got it, perhaps because I would have said no. My girls have lots of these dolls. Don't get me wrong, I love them! You could say we now have a collection of these dolls. I do appreciate that the girls take good care of them too.

Yummy Dairy Queen ice cream cake! I still prefer these over regular cake. ;)


That evening for her birthday dinner she had her traditional waffles!

I remember when Olivia was my chubby little baby, now she's an energetic 10 year old who loves to play with friends, imagination play, and she STILL loves her silky blankets and of course stuffed animals.

Yes, this is true. And yes....this will be our newest addition to the family. You think you're surprised! Just imagine how surprised I was! Big time let me tell you. And in case you are wondering, I am just starting my first week of month number five. Yes, I am in my second trimester already. Hard to believe it's really gone that fast. I haven't been sick at all. It's been very nice. I could easily not know that I was pregnant because I don't feel like I am. This explains why I haven't been sick. It's a boy. I wasn't sick with Aidan either. I kind of figured it was a boy and this morning confirmed that it was. Here's the little guy in action. , We got up a little after 6 a.m. and got ready to head to the hospital. My mom showed up at 6:45 to watch the other three at home for us. Thanks Mom! For Unto Us A Child Is Born

On Wednesday December 16th I went to the hospital at 7 a.m. to start my induction. I was already dialated to a 3 and dr. said if I wanted to have the baby I could. I didn't want to be in the hospital or recovering too close to Christmas with my entire family home for the season so I said sure! I was finally underway at 8 a.m. with pitocin. The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent in boredom and watching tv with Jaime at my side. At around 12:45 the dr. came to break my water because that usually gets things going quick. My kids have all arrived shortly after the water breaks. However, since the baby's head kind of floated up he decided to wait a bit to not risk the umbilical cord coming out first or wringing around the baby's neck. Bummer! I was so disappointed. So, on to more waiting, turning up the pitocin...again. Finally at 3:30 p.m. I was having some strong contractions and dialated 5-6. The Past Week...

This past week has been a pretty laid back one. I've been getting things done on my own schedule...whenever I feel like it. Haha! Took the boys to the library, I've been making time (a.k.a. not working) to read a book for my own enjoyment, planted some flowers, made a few trips to the park with the kids, done a bit of shopping (grocery shopping at Winco is a lot of work with just me and the boys and I really have to gear up for it.), and I have been playing Sorry and Hi Ho Cherry O with Aidan quite a bit. So I have been busy just not with the normal stuff that keeps me busy on a daily basis.  I love browsing Costco with Jaime and my kids in the evening of a week day. It's not very crowded then. If there's a fun movie on the TVs we like to stop and watch a little. We stopped to watch a bit of the Avenger's in 3D...hence Aidan's glasses. :) I spent a day at Mom's with the boys.
