Made it to WACO!

Visit Magnolia, bucket list item checked off! I made the 1,901 miles to magnolia with Diana and Bel.

The atmosphere is inviting and adorable.

You should know, I can pass up on cake/cupcakes any day. But today I felt I needed to experience the Magnolia Bakery. My campfire cupcake was oh so good!

They make 5,000 cupcakes a day!

Diana enjoyed her cupcakes as well!

The antique shop where our tour began.

Clint Harp's store. He's the woodworker for Chip and Jo on their show.

Seeing the old homes and buildings that Chip and Jo have bought and renovated was really cool. This castle would be a fun makeover.

The old church building Jo plans to have moved over to their area by the Silos and fix it up.

We have a great time on the tour. Didn't buy anything but we learned a lot and had a delicious luncheon provided after the tour.

Where it all started. This was Joanna Gains' first shop. They sell their last season items here now.

We took a Fixer Upper tour and went to some of the houses that Chip and Jo had renovated.

The silos

We got some beautiful sun. You'd think that was normal for Texas but during our week there we had frost and had to scrape our car windows! They had a very surprising cold front. New records made. lol My luck.

I liked seeing all of the decor and just the cuteness of each shop.

We signed Chip's giant birthday card!

We had some time one afternoon to go take a tour through the Fred Meyer factory/museum.

What a cute Dr. Pepper delivery truck!

The Magnolia Restaurant was closed when we drove by. They only serve breakfast and lunch. We laughed because we got so excited thinking we saw Jo inside. But it was just another employee fixing a crooked rug. :D But it wasn't her.

The building was an old restaurant but Chip and Jo bought it and fixed it up. They kept the decor in theme with the age of the building.

We got up for breakfast to eat at the restaurant.

It was so delicious!

These lemon lavender donut bites were amazing.

Super cute decor!

I'm so grateful I could take this trip with Diana and Bel. Great memories for sure. It was fun to cross off a bucket item with them.
