Wedding Set Up

 As soon as I got Christy and Darin to our house after picking them up from the airport, Christy got straight to work baking and getting things started for other desserts for the reception. We were up late doing what we could Thursday night. 


Bright and early Friday morning and Christy was at it again. She's so skilled. I loved watching her work. She truly is a professional at what she does. She may not do this for pay anymore but she definitely hasn't lost any skill. In fact, she's gained a lot just by experimenting on things on her own to do for family. I feel so blessed that she was so excited to make Lindsey's cake and help me make lots of other finger foods and desserts for the food tables at the reception. 


While Christy was left in the afternoon to keep working on cake, the rest of us met at the church to get things a hanging! I had a vision of what I wanted it to look like. Thanks to so many, that vision came alive! Jaime and my brothers did all the heavy lifting and climbing. I so appreciate them just doing what needed to be done when I said what I needed. It was great! I love them so much!

My kids are wonderful. They are growing up into wonderful children. I love them so much. We've been very busy with this and that recently. This will be a long recap of some of what's been going on. :) The Primary Program was Sunday Sept 22. (I forgot to get a picture of them on that day but I did get pics of them the previous Sunday.) All four of them memorized their parts and stood at the microphone to say them without any hesitation at all. They were cute to watch singing the songs. Aidan was funny to watch with his gestures and making a heart with his hands through some of the songs. My parents and grandparents were able to come and watch. THREE Years?!?!?!

On Wednesday September 3rd, 2008 I was at my Mom's house. I started having small contractions that kept getting more frequent. When I would be talking to my mom and have to stop just to breathe we decided that I was in labor and would probably be going to the hospital that night rather than the next morning for my scheduled induction. We had dinner there and after dinner I told Jaime to go ahead and go to mutual as he was in the Young Men's presidency. I wasn't in enough pain and didn't want to go to the hospital too early. Lindsey and Olivia would stay the night since they were going to anyway so Jaime and I could just get up Thursday morning and head to the hospital to be induced into labor. We got the girls in to bed and I said good bye. Tolo

The end of January Olivia asked her friend Jonas to Tolo. He had an arm in a sling for the same injury as Olivia. However his was worse and needed surgery. I thought her way of asking was clever and cute.  The night before Tolo the girls got together for a Galentine's night of food, pampering and prepping for the dance with facials, and watching a movie.  They had quite the spread! Time for facials! I love this picture of Brynnlee, Olivia, and Makeda busting up laughing. Knowing your kids have good friends is a wonderful thing.  They watched Pride and Prejudice.  Ready for Tolo! Cute cute! The group went to downtown Richland to get some Urban like pictures.  Well Jonas said something funny!
