2026 Let's Go!

I started the year off running. Maybe not literal running but I spent a lot of time getting things lined up for Olivia and Chaz's wedding. Looking for venues, contacting the florist, rental companies, photographers, caterer, bridal shop...list keeps going! Some days I'd spend well over an hour just making phone calls, answering texts, and writing emails for planning the wedding.  

We're doing things a little different this time. Rather than me planning it inch by inch. We've rented a venue and that pretty much comes with the caterer and wedding planner! A lot of the smaller details are included in it like dishes, linens, set up and take down. Having made contacts for Lindsey's wedding I already knew where to turn to for flowers and photographer. However our photographer ended up not being able to help us out so we've looked elsewhere from recommendations of friends. I think we have booked an excellent photographer and she will be taking photos of the "first look," bridal session, temple session, as well as the dinner and reception. 

So far it has been less stress for me and I am sooo grateful. I'm getting excited to see it come together. That's how I was for Lindsey's as well. Just hoping it all comes together well. One thing we're pretty excited about is the personal touches the caterer asked us to make for the couple. So what they wanted to do was to have freshly made churros at the reception. How awesome is that. Along with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces. There are still a lot of fine tuning of things but that'll come in the next couple months. Little things like napkin folds and dishes for food on the dessert table.
