Time With Tyler


My baseball stud. Tyler loves playing. I only wish I was better at helping him. He really does like to play and be active. 

Today was picture day. I took his pictures instead of paying for the ones from the photographer. I think they turned out great! 

The team. My friend Meggan Nelson has coached Tyler a few times over the years. It's fun knowing who the coach is and makes it a lot easier for me to get information. haha

After baseball pictures I took Tyler to Jaime's school where they were having fun event for kids. "Dia del los Ninos" It was a very windy day but we enjoyed our afternoon together.  We had fun as I accompanied him to the different activities, booths and inflatable obstacle course, then we sat down for lunch together. 

Tyler got to meet some of the local firemen and learn about the gear they wear. 


He was really excited to meet the police officers and check out their stuff. 

Tyler even got to see the inside of a police car!

Doing simple things like this that make kids so happy are some of the things I'll miss as my kids get older. Tyler still enjoys things like this but the other kids were ok not going. Sure they'd have fun if they were with us when we went, but most of the activities were geared for younger kids. But today was a good day for Tyler and me. He seemed to need the little extra one on one time and I loved giving him my full attention.

My kids are wonderful. They are growing up into wonderful children. I love them so much. We've been very busy with this and that recently. This will be a long recap of some of what's been going on. :) The Primary Program was Sunday Sept 22. (I forgot to get a picture of them on that day but I did get pics of them the previous Sunday.) All four of them memorized their parts and stood at the microphone to say them without any hesitation at all. They were cute to watch singing the songs. Aidan was funny to watch with his gestures and making a heart with his hands through some of the songs. My parents and grandparents were able to come and watch. It was a special treat for the kids to have them there.  The Sunday this picture was taken there were hundreds of yellow butterflies all over the purple flowering bushes. Tolo

The end of January Olivia asked her friend Jonas to Tolo. He had an arm in a sling for the same injury as Olivia. However his was worse and needed surgery. I thought her way of asking was clever and cute.  The night before Tolo the girls got together for a Galentine's night of food, pampering and prepping for the dance with facials, and watching a movie.  They had quite the spread! Time for facials! I love this picture of Brynnlee, Olivia, and Makeda busting up laughing. Knowing your kids have good friends is a wonderful thing.  They watched Pride and Prejudice.  Ready for Tolo! Cute cute! The group went to downtown Richland to get some Urban like pictures.  Well Jonas said something funny! They both have their slings off but they felt the handicap sign was appropriate for them. 😂 What a group of girls. Glad they have fun together.  I love the lights! THREE Years?!?!?!

On Wednesday September 3rd, 2008 I was at my Mom's house. I started having small contractions that kept getting more frequent. When I would be talking to my mom and have to stop just to breathe we decided that I was in labor and would probably be going to the hospital that night rather than the next morning for my scheduled induction. We had dinner there and after dinner I told Jaime to go ahead and go to mutual as he was in the Young Men's presidency. I wasn't in enough pain and didn't want to go to the hospital too early. Lindsey and Olivia would stay the night since they were going to anyway so Jaime and I could just get up Thursday morning and head to the hospital to be induced into labor. We got the girls in to bed and I said good bye. My brother Darin was home and he drove me to the hospital at 8:30 p.m. I sent Jaime a message I was going and he and my dad (our ward's bishop) would meet me there.
