Giggle Bug

I had to get this on camera. If I was ready I would have video taped it but at least I got a picture. On Sunday we had Jaime's family over for dinner. Afterwards Grandma Morales was playing with Aidan. He was standing up between a couple of his toys and she would make a stuffed Nemo toy come up and tickle his tummy. He thought it was great. He laughed so hard and so long. I'd love to reenact it so that we could get it filmed...we'll see. It may not be as funny to him again.

Lindsey wanted a picture of her with her hair up in a "crown." At least that's what she says it looks like when I put so many bands in it.

    That would have been cute to have seen/heard it on video. :) When a baby laughs you can't help but laugh yourself! I'm glad your 4th turned out well... i LOVE the pic of Aiden at the wheel. :)

    Thanks for commenting on our blog! We had no idea you were on here! I'm excited to be able to see your family grow. We wish we could see you at the reunion, but we understand. It sure gets hard to do things as we get older and as our families grow. Its just not the same as when we were all younger, running around on the beach and at Grandma and Grandpa's as little kids, camping in the pasture. But they were fun memories!

Yes, this is true. And yes....this will be our newest addition to the family. You think you're surprised! Just imagine how surprised I was! Big time let me tell you. And in case you are wondering, I am just starting my first week of month number five. Yes, I am in my second trimester already. Hard to believe it's really gone that fast. I haven't been sick at all. It's been very nice. I could easily not know that I was pregnant because I don't feel like I am. This explains why I haven't been sick. It's a boy. I wasn't sick with Aidan either. I kind of figured it was a boy and this morning confirmed that it was. Here's the little guy in action. , We got up a little after 6 a.m. and got ready to head to the hospital. For Unto Us A Child Is Born

On Wednesday December 16th I went to the hospital at 7 a.m. to start my induction. I was already dialated to a 3 and dr. said if I wanted to have the baby I could. I didn't want to be in the hospital or recovering too close to Christmas with my entire family home for the season so I said sure! I was finally underway at 8 a.m. with pitocin. The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent in boredom and watching tv with Jaime at my side. At around 12:45 the dr. came to break my water because that usually gets things going quick. My kids have all arrived shortly after the water breaks. However, since the baby's head kind of floated up he decided to wait a bit to not risk the umbilical cord coming out first or wringing around the baby's neck. Bummer! I was so disappointed. So, on to more waiting, turning up the pitocin...again. Finally at 3:30 p.m. I was having some strong contractions and dialated 5-6. The Past Week...

This past week has been a pretty laid back one. I've been getting things done on my own schedule...whenever I feel like it. Haha! Took the boys to the library, I've been making time (a.k.a. not working) to read a book for my own enjoyment, planted some flowers, made a few trips to the park with the kids, done a bit of shopping (grocery shopping at Winco is a lot of work with just me and the boys and I really have to gear up for it.), and I have been playing Sorry and Hi Ho Cherry O with Aidan quite a bit. So I have been busy just not with the normal stuff that keeps me busy on a daily basis.  I love browsing Costco with Jaime and my kids in the evening of a week day. It's not very crowded then. If there's a fun movie on the TVs we like to stop and watch a little. We stopped to watch a bit of the Avenger's in 3D...hence Aidan's glasses. :) I spent a day at Mom's with the boys.
