Christmas 2011

As always we had a busy Christmas of hitting up everyone's houses. I have a hard time not going to see our families during the holidays when they live so close. So even though it kind of wears the kids (and us) out we still enjoy it. On Christmas Eve we had dinner at my parents house. After dinner we went to Jaime's parents to open gifts. Kids got to open their usual Christmas pjs.
Tyler didn't feel like standing for a picture. He was ready to open more presents.

We got back to our house late, we put our stockings out and the kids headed off to bed...and crashed hard, fast! They were excited for Christmas morning but too tired to get up early. They slept in until almost 8. Tyler was the first to get up and found his Cars 2 race track. It has shake and go cars. He's pretty good at getting the cars to race around the track. It's a fun toy for us adults too!

Aidan and his Cars bike he's been asking for.

Olivia and her La La Loopsy Treehouse

Lindsey and her Nintendo DSlite and Monster High Laguna Blue doll and Hydration Station.
She's been asking for these FOREVER!!!

Aidan was so cute opening his gifts. He didn't want help. Just took his time and enjoyed it all. Maybe he didn't want it to end.

Aahhh, stocking candy and goodies.

After getting ready to go we headed back to Jaime's parents house for our traditional brunch with Christmas omelets. They are sooo good. Marty (Jaime's dad) cooks great breakfast food.

After omelets we went to church in my parents ward. It's always good to see friends we haven't seen in a while. After church we had Christmas dinner at my mom's and then after much anticipation from the kids, we opened our gifts there.

Tyler got all Cars and Thomas the Train gifts everywhere he opened presents. He loves them all!

Jaime opened a new wireless printer. We are very excited for this! I can print documents from not only the computers around the house that aren't in the same room as the printer, but also my iPad and iPhone!

Lindsey and more La La Loopsy fun!

We've been able to spend the last few days playing with the gifts we received. The spare room/den downstairs is now a train station for the time being.

My brother Darin got me a cotton candy maker. I like this like Jaime likes his snow cone maker. :)We all enjoy gifts like this.

See what I mean!

Delicious!

Live with her La La Loopsy toys, Monster High Doll and Nintendo 3DS
The girls are so good with their game systems. They play with them some and are good to do other things as well. Get lots of playtime in. :)

I've loved having Jaime home this past week so we can all be together and enjoy our time this holiday break. We've had a lot of fun watching movies, playing new Wii games, playing our new Kinect system for the xbox, setting up new blu ray players and Apple TV, and just playing with the kids!

So much has been going on that we've worn the kids out.
Tyler gets tired and sleeps where ever! He falls asleep in the high chair, on the floor, and sometimes he'll say he's ready for bed and just go climb into his bed. Only one of our kids to ever sleep where ever. It's kind of nice! :)

Merry Christmas!
