Mini Gravel Pit

Last week Tyler and his team were so bummed that their win wasn't enough to get them to the playoffs. I an't even express how excited Tyler was Monday morning when I told him that the number 4 team was disqualified moving Tyler's team up to 4th. They now would be playing a playoff game on Saturday against their hometown rivals Chiawana.

Tyler and the rest of the bulldogs put in longer practices every day this last week. Today they played hard and played well. There were great passes, caches, hits, blocks, and tackles.

It was enough to pull out the W on this Jr. Gravel Pit game! (Chiawana High and Pasco High schools play each other every year at Edgar Brown Stadium and it's called the gravel pit.)

The celebration was great but even greater was both teams, players and coaches, purple and blue, huddled together giving comments and uplifting words saying that even though they're on different teams our city of Pasco as a whole is bringing up some good players.
